Simple pastas here are decent. The seafood dinner was made with frozen seafood and was possibly the worst seafood dinner I have ever eaten, scratch that, partially eaten. I don’t think that the owner has eaten his own food lately.

As many other reviewers stated, my family has been going here for many years. The food used to be excellent, but has really fallen off in recent years. I don’t know why, but I speculate that the owner is spending all his time at the new Maurizio restaurant in Moorestown. I’m really saddened that it has fallen to just a subpar restaurant. I can think of 10 local Italian places as good or better within 10 miles of Cinnaminson. Hopefully I’ll hear things have gotten better, but if not I’ll take my business somewhere else.

My husband and I tried Maurizio’s last night, and we enjoyed it. They have a Monday-Thursday dinner special that is 2 dinners and an appetizer or dessert to share for $ 25. They give you garlic knots instead of plain bread, which was a nice change. The house salad was terrible — just iceberg and a couple shreds of carrot, but my husband’s chicken soup was good. I got the chicken parm, which was delicious — the chicken was nicely breaded(possibly pre-packaged, but not noticeably), and my husband enjoyed his crabcake. We were one of two tables in the entire restaurant, which had me worried at first, but it was a Thursday evening. Our waitress, who was the manager, was very friendly, and our iced tea was never empty. We’ll definitely be back!

It took me forever to find this place. I put«Maurizio’s, Cinnaminson, NJ» into my Google Maps app and it took me all around the world. Please, don’t do what I did. I then looked at the invitation for the baby shower I was going to and used the exact address written there, and I still was mis-directed. Just so you know, this place is in the Mainline Shopping Center next to Quest Diagnostics. It’s very, very easy to overlook. Anyway, I was surprised at how tiny this restaurant is. They had to shut the whole place down for the shower I was attending. Honestly it was like the size of my living room! I thought things weren’t going to go well when the staff had to shout the menu to everyone because they didn’t have printed copies, but everything turned out OK. They gave us pitchers of Coke, diet Coke, and water, and when we asked them to, they’d refill them. I don’t think anyone was thirsty for too long. The food was hit or miss. The garlic knots were AMAZING. I’m pretty much giving three stars just for those. They were so so so so good. The salad was ridiculous. Like, honestly, I laughed when I got it. It was basically iceburg lettuce on a plate. There was one cherry tomato cut in half on the side of the plate, and then a few pieces of red onion on the other side. My sister-in-law had a piece of shredded carrot on top of her salad, but I didn’t have that. It was just pathetic. For my main course I had the penne ala vodka. It was good. I don’t really have much to say about it. Overall the shower I was at was really cute because the whole place was shut down and they could decorate it however they wanted to, and the food was definitely better than most shower food I’ve had. Just make sure you know where you’re going… Edit: I ALMOSTFORGOT! There was one child who attended and she got chicken fingers and French fries. The fries were EXCELLENT! They were those double-fried fries, with the crispy bits all on the outside… if she wasn’t a little kid I probably would have stolen her meal for myself. Yummmm…

One of our favorites local Italian restaurants. Went there again tonight and had another wonderful dinner. The Broccoli Rabe is outstanding as is the ravioli. Friendly servers and the owner is a really genuine nice person.

Unilocaler’s reality check! 5 stars? Seriously? 3.75 stars. Maurizio’s has been serving solid Italian fare at this store for some years now, and the clientele love the large portions and reasonable prices. Yes, the owner/chef is a super nice guy, and he makes sure everyone is happy. Plus the food is good. Service can be spotty. BYOB. Make no mistake. This is not 4 to 5 star Vetri or Ralph’s or La Famiglia. This is a family restaurant, in family-minded Cinnaminson, with family restaurant décor, serving family restaurant food that’s a 3.75 among the Delaware Valley’s many Italian restaurants. For the record, though, that’s good enough for a decent dinner out on a Tuesday night with the family in Cinnaminson. Just keeping it real, folks.

My family has been going here for years. I’m never upset by the food. My favorite is the Spinach Ravioli. We love it so much that it’s basically our go-to restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone. And the owner is very nice and almost every time we go there he comes out to talk to us.

The food here is always great. Maurizio, the owner is always there ensuring his diners are satisfied and happy. He makes his patrons feel like they are part of his family. The menu is complete with Italian favorites. Each day they also offer a specials menu to choose from. The food is always fresh and cooked to order. The staff is very helpful and friendly. BYOB

I happen to love this little place. Tucked away in a shopping center it’s a hidden gem. The food is always fresh and delicious. You will often see Maurizio floating around the place making sure it is so. Each week day there is a different special(fish night, ravioli night, etc) It’s quality Italian food and just delicious. There is a room available for events(showers, lunechons, etc) and they do a great job with that too. We had my sister’s bridal shower there and were very pleased. The lobster ravioli is my favorite thing on the menu and it keeps me coming back for more.

I attended a baby shower at Maurizio’s in Cinnaminson* last Saturday and I have to say, it was quite nice. There were maybe two servers who worked a room of at least 50 women, and they did so with patience and haste. Bread baskets filled with shiny, hot garlic knots were placed at every table, and dressings for the starter salads were served on the side so everyone had control over how much and what kind. There were three options for lunch: chicken parm with spaghetti, a chicken panini with spinach and provolone and ravioli in tomato cream sauce with mozzarella. I went with the ravioli, which turned out to be the perfect size for an afternoon meal and quite delish. The paninis that my friends ordered were large enough to feed a linebacker(or a pregnant woman, take your pick), but my girls reported their selections to be on the bland side. Coffee was offered immediately after plates were cleared but before dessert, the way it should be. While I don’t find myself dining out in this neck of the woods very often anymore, I would recommend the place for those who do, or as a decent venue alternative when you can’t cram everyone into the living room. *I tried to change the address as this restaurant is not in Burlington, but it has not yet changed over. A friend ended up in Burlington when she looked up the restaurant and put it in her GPS… she was an hour late to the shower. Wah-wah.
