Great place for some mid winter vitamin D. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Really new and clean facility. Many choices for tanning aficionados. Much more than just tanning. I highly recommend this establishment any time of the year.

i wish they would have more specials, their prices can be up there. i only use them when it is discounted. overall they are a great tanning place, professional and clean. Love the results i get so does everyone that sees my tan!

I have been going to beach bum for three years now. I only go around this time each year to get a base tan and I use the bronze bed. Whenever I go to get a package started or I’m checking in the staff is always friendly. They’re never too pushy to sell you lotion and are informative when you ask for an opinion. Depending on the time to go there can be a wait but they try their best to get you in a bed as soon as they can. My only complaint is that they don’t have more locations over south jersey.

Horrible customer service. I was a member here since it opened years ago. The main reason I enjoyed Beach Bums is because of the flexible operating salon hours. The salon used to be open 9am-12am, however the salon hours recently changed to 9am-11pm(10pm on Saturdays), which is still convenient. Recently, I signed up for a service that was not received. I went in one night, expecting to tan and was incredibly disappointed with the poor quality of customer service. Prior to arriving, I called the salon to double check what time the salon closes. One employee, Dylan, answered and confirmed the salon is open until 11pm. After getting my newborn baby situated at home, I arrived to the salon at 10:50 pm expecting to tan for a total of 8 minutes when Dylan turned me away telling me the salon closes at 11 pm. I said it’s only 10:50 pm. She told me that she decided to close the registers early and could not allow me to tan. I then requested to speak to a manger considering I paid for a full month membership, and the store is still technically open, when she laughed at me and rolled her eyes. I then gave her my name and number in hopes that a manager will call me. I am furious and greatly dissatisfied. They lost me as a customer and will be loosing several others due to the lack of customer service.

Mixed review. Eyelash extensions-I bought a groupon for eyelash extensions. The first time I tried to book an appointment was before my friends wedding in April. I called and they didn’t have availability for 2 weeks. I didn’t worry because I had a vacation in May that I figured I could use them for. I called up, booked an appointment after pleading with the receptionist, and get there only to find out they don’t even do eyelash extensions on Tuesdays. I had changed several other appointments to squeeze this in. One of the girls at the front desk told me the manager would call me-it’s been over 2 weeks without a call. The groupon has now expired but more importantly I had two big events that I wanted the eyelashes for which I didn’t get. Spray tans-so far I’ve been sprayed twice here. Both times have turned out good. Natural-looking, no orange. The regular full price is high though so look for discounts.

Beds ALWAYS have burnt out bulbs. Tell the staff and they say«we know, our manager will be in tomorrow to replace them».meanwhile a week full of tomorrow’s passes and not only is that bulb still out but now 3x as many are out. «Low» prices on their top level beds, which they only have two lay downs(iBed and Sun Angel), but they always feature«free tanning in any level bed with the purchase of 1 packet of lotion» aka there is ALWAYS a wait for their top level beds because they are full of people that aren’t paying to use them. There are always multiple employees behind the register having conversations amongst themselves while only 1 rep is checking people in/signing up new members/showing members how to use the beds. Very poor service, beds in disrepair, and always a wait for a bed. I rated two stars because they are open basically all day, 9am to midnight. I would not recommend this salon to my palest enemy; there are many others in the area with similar prices that can’t possibly be worse.
