Wok of China

The first time I had Chinese food was from here. My dad was working on building the current Best Buy and Panera located near by and had me try the teriyaki chicken (on a stick) with rice… I loved it and I was a pre-​teen. Ever since then I literally have never stopped loving their service and food. I’ve never had something gross from here, it’s always fast and still hot when I’m home twenty minutes later.
It’s the best Chinese restaurant on the west side of Cincinnati… and I’ve tried a bunch of different ones. I normally get the general tsos with fried rice and an egg roll and yummy. It hits the spot!

Know this place for what it is, a hole in the wall place that serves up great takeout and fast. For that it is a 5 star in my book. The cooks are clearly of the ethnicity of the restaurant and you can usually hear them speaking in the language. See? Exactly what you want in a Chinese food place. Ethnic food, the restaurant seems clean, you can see into the kitchen and can wait with anticipation as your food makes its way through the cooking process.
The egg rolls are delicious, the beef lo mein is AMAZING!!! and they have the chopsticks and sauces in containers on the counter so you can decide how many you need instead of having to beg for them. Their prices are cheap and their lunch specials are even cheaper.
Their drinks are in can form, but I appreciate that they are refrigerated so I don’t need to ice my drinks.

What Wok of China lacks in décor it more than makes up in flavor. While the building looks like fast food Chinese, food is made fresh to order. Vegetables are crisp, chicken tender, and everything hot. Meals may be ordered in individual plates, or larger, family style sizes. There are also lunch specials available. We opted for family style. Everyone’s favorite was the sesame chicken. The chicken had a crunchy outer layer, even covered in the sauce. The sauce had a sweet honey flavor. Spicy items may be customized to more or less spicy. I look forward to trying more options.

I’ve been going to Wok of China for the past 15 years. I’ve tried other Chinese restaurants but nowhere else compares to this place. Excellent food, friendly staff and affordable prices. Everything on the menu is yummy!

Favorite chinese hands down! Prices are great they will make pretty much anything you ask for and the good is always great! Prices are also very reasonable!

I live 5 minutes away from this and about 9 other Chinese restaurants & buffets and this is by far the best value. Great food every time. I always call in for pick up and it’s always ready and delicious.

Typical Chinese restaurant catering to the western palate with Americanized Chinese food. If you know that going in, then you won’t be disappointed. Good food. Nice portions. Very affordable. I get carryout whenever I’m in the mood for this type of food.

Fast service with good food and not badly priced!

Great little hole in the wall that offers cheap but good chinese food. The General Tso’s is very good — a bit spicy, but more on the sweet side and I’ve had other good things there as well. Not the best chinese food in the world, but it’s very good, very cheap (especially at lunch), and very quick.

This is my «signature» Chinese restaurant and has been for 16 years. Highly recommend steamed dumplings, Hunan chicken, and the roast pork lo mein. Absolutely fabulous. Orders have been perfect ever single time.

Your typical Chinese restaurant. Very reasonably priced. I’ve had several much better. The frozen egg rolls I cook at home are better than the ones served there. Disappointed.
