While the staff is friendly and helpful, the shop was very slow and even non-responsive at times. I dropped a non working mower off to the shop for diagnosis and after paying $ 40 was told to give them a few days. After waiting a week I tried to call and received an outgoing message only, they do not have an answering machine. I made a few calls like this through the next couple of days. Finally I got a hold of the shop and was told a mechanic would call me right back, but that call was not returned. I finally called back again and was able to talk to a mechanic. I was told that the mower needed a new coil and was quoted a price around $ 160 for fix, and that would not guarantee to be the only issue. I picked the mower up from the shop the next day, bought the coil from amazon for $ 16, and put it into my mower myself in well under an hour. Once installed the mower ran again. The price quoted for this fix was outrageous and I basically paid $ 40 for nothing.

My experience was almost exactly the same as Allie D except I actually purchased a ‘good’ lawnmower from them in 2014. The first mowing of and the mower wouldn’t start. My neighbor examined it and said the plug was fouled and the air filter was an antique in addition to a broken cord. A good mower? I foolishly went back to them and bought a plug and filter. After replacing those parts, the pull cord broke! I took the mower back to them. After more than a week and I had to call them for an update. They couldn’t find the mower. I had to call back two more times and was quoted finally quoted $ 115 to fix it the cord only! Of course, they were going to have to fix the cord it to determine what else was wrong with the mower. DONOT purchase a used mower from these people. I believe that they pick them up off the curb or take them as trade, don’t even look at them and sell them as GOOD. Even used, this was not an inexpensive mower… it was garbage. DONOT expect any customer service on your mower. The only reason I am rating them as one star is because there are no negative stars. Sad that a local shop rates so poorly on trust and customer service. I like to shop from local merchants and avoid big box stores, but in this case you will be much better served by almost anyone.

what a crook. i took my mower in for an estimate to get it running again after the starter cord broke. they quoted me $ 90, citing how it was going to need a whole new starter assembly and the part alone cost $ 65. i thought that didn’t sound right so i got on youtube, watched a 2 minute video showing how to replace the rope. i bought the new rope for $ 4.95 and replaced it myself with absolutely zero expertise. they said they couldn’t simply replace the rope when i asked why it needed a whole new assembly, something about being bound up… blah blah blah. they couldn’t really give me a good reason. it took me only 10 minutes to do and i found they had not even opened the top of the mower, because the caked on dirt was covering the bolts. i hate this place. i had to call them back to get the estimate and i had to call back after being put on hold over 15 minutes. i was the only person in the store when i picked it up and it took them 20 minutes just to check me out. lame.

Busy little shop! New to the area… heard alot of good things about the shop. Had no clue my mower still had warranty left on it we purchased it out of state, It would not self propel. took it in to them they called within 4 days to say it was ready for pick up at No charge. They also informed me of the Ethanol issues with the gas when it sits. So glad we found this shop.

Great mom and pop joint. Reasonable prices. Everything you would expect a local mower shop to be. Owner was happy to sharpen a blade right away for me because I was ready to cut my grass.
