US Nails

This place was amazing. I took my friends’ recommendation to give this place a shot. And they didn’t let me down. This place had simple décor but nice and well organized. They cleaned up everything after every customer. In addition, I did experience a professional service last time. Their staffs were really nice. They gave me drinks and hot towel to help me relax on their comfortable chairs before working on my mani/​pedicure. So love it. Definitely, I will be back.

I posted the picture of my infected toe. The service was going well till she decided to say I had an ingrown toe nail. I came in for a pedi not a ingrown removal. After seeing my Doctor he made it clear she should have never tried to remove an ingrown. I didn’t even know it was there. Also after my service I noticed the tools were just set aside. I went in and ask for my money back or they could pay the doctor bill. After being very unprofessional, loud any just nasty (in front of other clients) she gave me back my $. Unclean, unprofessional! There much better salons in the area.

This location of US Nails is in the Meijer Store, which makes it incredibly convenient. It isn’t the best nail salon I have been to, but it is relatively cheap and is a good location, so I have been there many times.
My one pet peeve at this place is the wait. They are often busy and don’t take appointments. No matter if there is 2 people or 10 in front of you, they will ALWAYS say the wait is only going to be 20 minutes. There have been many times I have waited longer. The good thing about it being in Meijer is that you can go do your shopping while you wait.
They do a satisfactory job. I have had better manicures and pedicures in my life but not many for this cheap. Prices are definitely at the low end of the nail salon spectrum.
I do somewhat wonder about how clean this store is… There is just a feeling I get that makes me wonder about the cleanliness of their tools.
I do like that they have a tv on the wall that usually has some sort of movie on it. The nail techs usually take cues to talk if you want to talk or to leave you alone if that is what you prefer.
This place is one of a dozen nail salons on the west side and it is perfectly adequate for my needs.
