Got an email saying the Anderson location is closed and I should go to west Chester location.

Nice looking place, plenty of room for groups. Food is a bit overpriced for what you get, but it’s not bad food. .not excellent food, but good. Service has been good, attentive and upbeat. Overall an okay experience.

I miss the OLD Uno’s Pizza! Keep in mind I had my wedding rehearsal dinner at the old Uno’s back in 2000(per my fiancées request)!!! I’m giving this a 2 star rating because our waiter was good! The menu and the food… not so much! I could not believe the lack of pizza choices on the menu. I got the Mediterranean pizza. I thought that the spinach would be cut up & baked in with the cheese & other ingredients. Instead, my pizza came out looking like it had a salad on top of it with raw spinach leaves & balsamic dressing! My BF opted for the fish & chips. I tried to tell him that you don’t order fish in a pizza restaurant! He didn’t listen & of course he said his fish was disgusting! Tasted old, overcooked & overly greasy. Our 10 year old was also with us & he got the bacon cheeseburger. I think he might have taken 4 bites. Another shocker was the bill! Over $ 8.00 for just 3 Pepsi’s!!! WTF??? We got a regular pepperoni individual pizza to take home to our daughter also. So for 2 small(less than average) pizzas, a cheeseburger & overly deep fried greasy fish filets & fries &3 Pepsi’s, it was $ 64!!! And that’s before tip!

Very unhappy with Uno Pizzeria & Grill. Since I recently became lactose intolerant but love the flavor of pizza we frequently order a pizza ½ no cheese. UNOS is the only pizzeria that has told me they can’t make it without cheese. 90% of the time I have to talk with manager to place my order. Tonight, my daughter picked up our carryout order including what was supposed to be her meal size deep dish mac and cheese. It was in a small container smaller than her side salad. We have ordered this before and received a much larger portion in a foil pan. Since there is a considerable difference in price $ 12.99 vs $ 6(appetizer portion), I called and was told that«they probably packed more in the container» and wouldn’t listen when I tried to explain further. Guess we won’t be going there again anytime soon and definitely won’t get this dish. TOO bad

Went yesterday with my the kids. Our server, Tiffany, was great. We also had a nice surprise of half price apps. Shrimp and crab dip was really good. We also got the pepperoni pizza. It was good, but I feel a bit overpriced. Overall, a nice experience.

Went for lunch on October 24th and sat in the bar area. The bartender came over and greeted by boyfriend. My mother and I were left out. The bartender asked my boyfriend what he would like to drink first, Service 101 you always start with the females and the oldest one at that. He took our order and quickly walked away with a runny nose(I’m being polite about that, it was more than that) IF your sick stay home! That ruined the meal, who wants to eat anything after that. I wanted to say something to management but I didn’t want my mother to know there was an issue.

Nice décor but food was not good. One soda came out with a dirty glass and draft beer had bad taste. I would not go back.

I threw a surprise birthday/engagement party here in their function room and it went off without a hitch. The room comfortably sat the 35 people I had at the party and could have fit more. Terrance, the manager who booked the party was awesome, easy to work with and very helpful. We landed on the all you can eat pizza buffet, which was amazing. The food came out slow at the start, but that’s to be expected considering I told them there would be a slow start to the party. Our waitress Dawn was amazing, attentive, kept everyone happy, drinks filled, pizza on the table, and provided the checks without error. Even while hustling and bustling, she was absolutely wonderful to work with. The whole experience was amazing, I’d highly recommend for any function of 25 – 50 people. Very reasonably priced vs. other area establishments. Also, much more friendly to work with!

Uno Pizzeria was my first Chicago style pizza experience, and I was not disappointed! I loved their crust, and the pizza toppings were delicious! Our service was great too! Love this place!

I recommend this place to anyone looking for a diverse menu selection and a great selection of drinks. My friend and I went here to have a bite to eat so we grabbed a table with a server named Michael. He was great and a lot of help in identifying the drink selection for me. My friend decided to go for the personal pizza and a mojito while I ordered their towering iced tea(which apparently you only need one before hitting the alcohol limit) and fish & chips. There was plenty to eat and it was delicious. They have a great red pepper tartar sauce that comes with it that I loved. I had never been here before and now I look forward to the next time I come across one to try some new on the menu. The staff was great and fun to talk to as well. They’ve got it all.

Having visited the original ‘Pizzeria Uno’ in Chicago, I had to try this spin-off version. It was such a disappointment. I ordered the Chicago Classic deep dish pizza and could notice immediately that it was not the same as the original. The sauce and specially the crust, are different from the one at ‘Pizzeria Uno’. My wife ordered the Numero Uno and noticed the same. It is such a shame that the recipe was altered to make it, perhaps, more commercial or cheaper to increase the profit margin. The service, however, was excellent. Still not sure that I would visit one of these again.

Good food, spectacular service. My husband and I stopped by the Anderson Township location on a recent Monday evening and was greeted by Jennifer H., server #52. She was, hands down, one the best servers we have had in a long time. She was attentive, pleasant and seemed to know the menu very well. I ordered the veggie soup and grilled cheese. One thing that struck me, and we’ve never had a server do this, is that when clearing our dishes, Jennifer actually took note of the fact that I barely touched the grilled cheese and asked if everything was OK with it. I’m not usually one to take the initiative and tell a server or manager when something isn’t good — I just either don’t order it in the future or we just don’t come back. But since asked, I told Jennifer that I loved the soup, but found the sandwich to be overly greasy and the cheese used didn’t melt well and that it just wasn’t great. Jennifer relayed this to her manager, who took it off our bill. She also offered alternate recommendations of other vegetarian options on the menu that we could try in the future. While I don’t recommend the grilled cheese, we have tried Uno’s pizzas before and they’re always good. My husband ordered the black bean burger on this visit and said it was a nice change from the frozen veggie patties served at other restaurants.

Not my choice to eat here since I’m eating gluten free for health reasons. So I ordered walnut crusted goat cheese salad. It looked good and tasted good too, good dressing, although there were not many blueberries on it(part of the description). I guess since the walnuts were«crusted» that’s why I didn’t see any. There were 2 large scoops of goat cheese for the protein, and a nice bed of field green lettuce. It was $ 12, a few dollars overpriced for what I got. My friend got the same salad(almost as big a serving) as part of the soup & salad special for $ 8, which turned out to be a MUCH better deal. The waitress was very good and earned her 20% tip.

The service here was outstanding! My wife and I live in Oakley, but we were out this way running errands, and decided to stop and try something different. We were seated right away, our server was friendly and helpful. Service was fast. We ordered a pizza which was okay(nothing to write home about). All in all, a decent experience.

I ate here for my Brother’s birthday dinner. The pizza was great and the service was decent. One negative I came across was the design/acoustics of the building itself. I found it difficult to talk with others at my table due to how loud the restaurant was.

My family and I have been to this UNOs many times but this visit was definitely sub par. The 15 minute wait on a Friday night was certainly acceptable but waiting 33 minutes for our salad was not. The waitress actually had brought the wrong salads very quickly but we didn’t get the right ones for the 33 minutes. Our pizzas came a short couple minutes later but we hadn’t even taken one bite of our salads since the waitress failed to notice we didn’t have silverware :-(. When we called it to her attention she came back with forks only(no napkins or knives!). Lastly my 9 yo son ordered his favorite — the make your own pizza off the kids menu. Unfortunately he wasn’t offered to make the pizza — apparently she just forgot. To be fair, we did complain to the manager on our way out. He graciously offered us a $ 25 gift card. The cost of our meal was actually $ 50. It’s unlikely we’ll go back but at least he offered something.

Came here for my mom’s birthday because she insisted. I am not a chain gang kind of girl and you all know that about me, but I gotta tell ya… This place is where it’s at. Most of us got their signature deep dish pizza, and I’m not kidding it was better than the kind I had in Chicago. The crust was super duper buttery, and flaky. Not that weird cornmeal stuff. This was real crust! Maybe since I am a lover of crusts, I found this place to be so amazing. The pizza was dense, but not overflowing with sauce. I hate sauce, especially gross sauce. This sauce was herb-y and flavorful and not slopping through the sides. The cheese was great, toppings were hearty. One of the best pizza’s I’ve ever had. But the service was great too. We had a larger group and the waitress managed to deal with our pickiness, and our thousand non-stop drink orders. Oh and I had a fishbowl marg and it was not made with syrup. It tasted like real lime juice and nectar. SOHAPPY. I was so surprised, I would go as far as to say I might go out of my way to come back here again! Touché Uno’s ;)

Went here for lunch today and have to say the pizza’s are going downhill! Used to love the deep dish pizza with a Caesar salad. The pizza’s are now very bready and have little cheese or pepperoni(today was pepperoni day). I have been going here(this location or Clifton) for 20 years and you can see the cost savings by cutting the toppings on the pizza. The lunch special is a good deal at $ 7.99. Today we waited awhile for our salads and the pizzas came out 2 minutes after it. Poor spacing today by the staff. Friendly staff. Service was OK.

Another restaurant in a long line of «just OK». Like others have said, this is not the best example of Chicago deep dish pizza. It’s really not the best example of any pizza. The food is all very chain-y and hit or miss on the non-pizza items. However, it is one of the few places, around Anderson Township anyway, to get a decent pizza and have something other than a Bud Light to drink. And the service has always been fine, friendly and competent. So, in short, for mixed drinks and pizza in Anderson Township, this is the place.

Crimony – this Uno’s location and presumably many others are doing little to enhance the Chicago deep-dish-pizza brand. More years ago than I care to admit to, I went to the original Pizzeria Uno in Chicago with a buddy who was attending the University of Chicago. I’d had deep-dish pizza only at a hometown place that was lousy enough that it had turned me off almost entirely to the whole Chicago-style pizza concept. But Uno was terrific that evening, and revelatory. Several years after that, I went to an Uno location during a visit to DC. Still pretty great. In the intervening years, I’ve had deep-dish pizza at several other places in Chicago, and I’ve found that I really like and appreciate this pizza alternative. Chicago pizza is legit. But after not having been to an Uno’s for a several more years, I tried it during an airport layover. Absolutely disgusting, and almost inedible. I chalked that up to crappy airport food in general. Finally, we’ve gone to the Uno’s location in Anderson two or three times for pizza. This is nothing like the deep-dish I’ve had in Chicago. Instead of buttery, flaky crust like you get with a good Chicago-style pizza, the crust at this location is crunchy, dry, and almost stale-tasting. The toppings and tomato sauce are bland and not very fresh-tasting. Really medicore stuff. Plus, salads are uninspired and sloppily assembled. In recent years, the«Pizzeria Uno» chain has become«Uno’s Chicago Grill,» offering a far broader menu than just pizza. But we haven’t tried any of the other stuff. I figure that if they can’t competently produce their signature item, I’m not about to dive into the rest of the fare. The décor is typically sterile chain bar-and-grill, not really distinguishable from the whole O’Chillibee’s lineup except for discordant, obligatory nods to the city of Chicago(e.g., a big neon«Navy Pier» sign next to a group of black-and-white photos of Chicago bluesmen). Service has been efficient if rather officious: I don’t know if this a function of how the servers are trained or just buttoned-up personalities we’ve happened to have gotten on our visits.(Or maybe they’re formerly vibrant personalities beaten down by the dreary corporate-restaurant atmosphere at Uno!) A solid«meh.» If you judge deep-dish pizza by this place, you’ll be making the same mistake I did with that crappy Chicago-style place in my hometown.
