Eight floors and multiple buildings of doctors, doctors, doctors! My general physician is located on Floor 6. Need blood work done? No problem, they send you down to Floor 4. Need a specialist? They’re all over the place in the same building. From x-rays and eye doctors to dermatologists and dialysis, you can find it all here. There’s even a Kroger Pharmacy located on the first floor for easy prescription filling. Sure, it can be a maze, but there’s a receptionist on Floor 1 if you can’t find your doctor. She can look up his name in a directory and point you in the right direction. The parking garage is located off Eden Avenue and only costs $ 1.00 with a validated ticket. Be sure to take the stub with you to the doctor’s office; the receptionist can stamp it for you. Also when parking, there are slips of paper by the elevator doors telling you which level and color you parked. Great idea! Tear one off to find your car later. Centrally located with speedy appointment times and knowledgeable staff, University Medicine is one of the best medical centers in Cincinnati, with the added convenience of having all your specialists under one roof.

I’ve gone to University since moving to Cincinnati and there’s no one else I’d go to for my heath and well being. I go to doctors here for both my general practice(check-ups and whatnot) and for my endocrinology doctor to take care of the diabetes(so much fun there). They are professional, smart and patient. Every doctor I’ve had doesn’t mind me asking questions and will work with me to find an answer or make myself feel better. Parking can be a bit annoying, as you have to find the right parking lot for the doctor you are seeing or they won’t validate your ticket(they do validate, though, which is a win). Also, give yourself some time to find the right doctor the first time you go … this place it literally a maze, with multiple connected buildings and twists and turns as you walk the hallways. They do try to put up signs, but they’re few and far between. Still, when you find your doctor, you’ll be glad you did. I recommend University for anyone — from the sick all the way down to the hypochondriacs. This is the spot to be.
