I’m not super familiar with soccer complexes. For one, I grew up in SoCal, so the need for an indoor soccer field was non-existent. Secondly, I don’t do team sports. But I enrolled my little guy in a Lil’ Thumpers class here that meets once a week. The place is literally around the corner from me, so it’s super convenient. I love the class, but this place is gross. Like I’m afraid to touch things gross. I mean«I need some anti-bacterial gel on my hands right now» kind of nasty. I haven’t even tried the bathrooms… too afraid. My biggest complaint though is that the air conditioning clearly doesn’t work in the building. We’re there for an AM class and by the end of it, all the parents are sweating and hot. Mind you, we have all just played a bunch of 18 month olds. This isn’t the cardio-workout you’d think it was given our huffing and puffing. I would think one of the perks of playing indoors in the summer is cooler temps, but a broken air conditioner kind of defeats the purpose. We recently went to W2W Soccer in Mason. The facility was better kept and had clearly functioning air conditioning.

I’ve been playing soccer at the Tri-County SportsPlex(err, SoccerPlex) since I was playing club soccer as a kid; when it still had basketball courts(where there now lies a second, smaller field instead). As an adult, I play in both co-ed and women’s leagues. Concessions are great and even sell beer. For players, there is accessible water both at the concession stand as well as on either bench. For what it is, the Plex is a great place to play indoor soccer. The turf is in good shape and the field is pretty large. My only gripe, however, is that in the summer there is not much ventilation and it gets extremely hot inside. Otherwise, this is where I play in most of my leagues and don’t have any complaints.

Fun, safe kid friendly environment. I play in the men’s league on Tuesdays, and they do a great job of organizing the league so that you only play teams of similar competition levels
