Tim has been cutting my hair for over 5 years. He is great to chat with and his perfectionist tendencies mean you’ll get an incredible haircut. This attention to detail convinced my wife that he’s the stylist for her as well. Highly recommended for men’s and women’s cuts.

Okay, here goes, Studio U is totally unique. It is a haircut and color and so much more. It really is all about you. What you want your hair to do. How you like to wear it. How you can style it to make it look like when you walk out of the shop.
And, Tim? The owner is simply amazing as a person. He is that rare good person. Not intrusive, but he listens. About hair or anything else on your mind.
He is a master stylist who knows hair. The results are like NYC or LA. He does not pressure for products, not at all. Zero.
This was one of my very best hair appointments. Pretty much perfect. If you have any salon needs and are in the downtown area, this is the place to go. Seriously, this is it. xoox

Preface: i am absolutely horrible at haircuts, they cause me an explained anxiety and i frequently avoid the experience for long periods of time.
All said, i had learned of studioU from Unilocal.Bought a coupon suggested after reading reviews. When i arrived i met 2xtim. Tim combs, AKA: COMBS drew the straw apparently and i honestly could not have been more impressed. He was just fantastic. He comforted me, explained his thoughts with some applicable experiences of his own. The hair cut was long over due. His demeanor, it was everything until i realized that my hair looked amazing… i am excited to see how it will develop at this point…

I’ve been a regular here for a while now and felt that a review was more than necessary. Tim Ferrier truly knows not only the business but also customer service. His salon always has me leaving with a smile on my face, knowing I received the best cut in Cincinnati. The salon itself is uniquely located near all the boom in Over-​The-​Rhine. A stone’s throw away from 6 Cincinnati’s renovated vine street, it’s an awesome place for anyone living in the area or just passing through to stop by. Well don’t just take my work for it, stop by and see for yourself. They also have had a promotion for college student haircuts going on, you could call in and see if that’s still a thing.

I have to say I really enjoyed my experience at Studio U yesterday! Tim trimmed my hair like I wanted & didn’t take inches off like most do when you ask for a trim. Tim took all the time I needed not what he needed ! Great customer service & will definitely be back!!! Thanks again Tim
