the staff here is always really friendly.
HOWEVER, they do not have all the capabilities of a real Starbucks.
they cannot redeem your rewards or birthday treats.
One time they forgot my order, but the manager fixed it with a complimentary voucher for a free item.
it’s just a-​ok, and i often go here b/​c it’s in my vicinity.

This is a great Starbucks inside University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Typically the Starbucks inside other business have their downfalls, but this one does a wonderful job. Fast and efficient service with a smile. If your at UCMC go to Starbucks!

I’d give them 5 stars but since this is a Starbucks owned by and housed within another business (Marriott) there’s a few limitations on rewards member services. Examples, no reward gift redemptions here and no 50 cent refills. Otherwise, this place is great mainly because the employees are so kind and have such great customer service.

I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee, however I am a fan of having a coffee shop located in the hospital that serves espresso. I also enjoy that they have a full set of offerings that any Starbucks would. This location also offers seasonal menu changes, which are great. One thing that you should know if you were to use a credit card at this location is that they charge under the Kingsgate Marriott. So when you check your credit card statement at the end of the month, do not be alarmed when you have multiple charges that say Marriott next to them.

This is probably the most efficient Starbucks I know of. Staff are very friendly and excellent at remembering orders. Drinks are always made well. I just wish they had weekend hours…

I generally avoid Starbucks — there are just so many good alternatives locally that there isn’t a reason to go to one usually. This one is a bit different. It is near the cafeteria in University Hospital, which is a fairly unique spot. I’ve come here many times to put some caffeine into my morning, and I’ve always gotten a decent cup of brewed coffee. I’m writing this review mainly because I had a pretty good espresso there a couple of days ago, and I thought the barista deserved some props for her good work. I also needed to remind myself that even corporate behemoths sometimes get food and drink totally right. I’ll keep coming back for convenience, and hopefully the espresso will be just as good next time I get it.

There’s a small starbucks located on the first floor between the Medical Science Building and University Hospital. Because of the lack of parking, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re already at the hospital.
Seating area is limited, but it has everything a normal Starbucks has.
Oh, and if you use your credit card here, it shows up as «Marriott.» So don’t be alarmed.
