Took 45 minutes to get water. Terrible service! Table after table gets served before us although we came in first.

This Skyline is pretty mediocre. It seems like they never listen to you when you ask for specifics. Once they forgot the crackers that I asked for so I had to park and go back in after going through the drive thru.(How do they forget a staple of the Skyline meal?) Also, I always ask for my 3-ways with extra chili(extra juicy) and it is like they literally just put a small dollop of chili on top. Do yourself a favor and go to the Skyline by Eden Park instead.

I love Skyline. I’ve been to many. This one is just awful when it comes to waitresses. On a hot summer day, eating habanero cheese, hot sauce, and chili you may want a refill on water. But the waitresses here give you the check with the food, then all go up front to talk to each other(never to return). Cool.

My life motto is «good day, bad day, Skyline day» — because I want Skyline when I have a really good day, and I want Skyline when I’m having a bad day too. This is my current neighborhood Skyline. I’ve had consistently good and quick service here, and consistently good chili! Everyone has their own go-to order but I think the best way to try Skyline for the first time is a small(or medium… if you’re good and hungry) 3-way and one chili cheese coney! My go-to is 2 chili cheese coneys with everything(onions and mustard) and since I can hardly go a meal without potatoes, I order plain fries — they always fry them fresh and at this location, you get them in a big bowl! At some other Skyline locations, I’ve gotten fries and they’re served on a small or medium 3-way plate :( I used to be vegetarian(dark days of my life, yes) and I would get the black bean burrito deluxe — I recommend it! It has the seasonings just like the regular beef chili and is actually really tasty! On Friday/Saturday it’s posted that this location is open until 2:30AM, but I believe the dining room closes before that and you can only do the drive thru. Don’t forget to pick up a york mint patty or two when you check out!

Feeling good and hungry? This is a quality skyline for dining in. The drive thru does a nice job as well but we all know skyline is much better when you sit in side.

Great Skyline location! It’s always busy but they handle it well. The parking lot can be a little crazy and it’s hard to turn left out of the lot, but it doesn’t stop me from going there. Great quality and friendly employees.

I’m done with their drive-thru. Eating there is fine, but too many times I’ve brought dinner home for the wife and kids to find they’ve missed something I paid for. Yeah, I could unpack the sack of food to check everything. I shouldn’t have to. I live just far enough away that it’s not worth going back for. I called to complain once. They were apologetic, took my name and address promising to send coupons that never materialized.

This is a very nice Skyline. It’s right off of Oakley square, which is a cool area on its own, so it’s a good stop if you have to be around there. This particular Skyline is newer, very clean, and it has its own parking lot and drive thru window. Servers are very friendly as well. Overall, a great place for when that craving for Cincinnati chili comes up.

Always solid and good. Good coneys, 3 ways, fast service… if you need a quick bite, and meaty skyline, this is the location. I am sorry I can’t be more descriptive. It’s Cincy chili.

My parents were born and raised in Cincinnati, and the Oakley Skyline has been a tradition for decades. The chili is as good as ever, and this location seems to have staff above the rest. Can’t go wrong with a classic coney or 3-way. If you are new to Skyline, it is Greek-style chili(mostly meat and seasoning), served on tiny delicious hot dogs or spaghetti. It has a diner feel, but you get Skyline instead of mystery surprise. Always delicious!

It’s Skyline. You either love it or hate it. The service here is very speedy. They can also accommodate a large group with no problem. This location had multiple TVs and is good to watch a game while chowing down on a 5 way.

Skyline might be a chain, but not all locations are created equal. I’ve always found the staff at this location to be particularly understanding of my cheese and oyster cracker spreading children. I really like window shopping the cute Oakley shops and then stopping in for a bite. That just really speaks to me of Cincinnati and it’s unique neighborhoods. I’m partial to the classics here – 3 Ways and Coneys. I’ve heard good things about the potato with chili and cheese, but I’m too dyed in the wool Cincinnatian to ever imagine branching out.

WTF. I don’t get it. Why is this famous? I was explaining the Cincinnati chili phenomena to some friends, «it’s basically like they took chili and f’d it up w/chocolate powder then put it on cold spaghetti noodles. And it looks like dookie.» I seriously think there are only 3 types of people who LIKE Skyline Chili: 1) people who are completely wasted 2) people who don’t have taste buds, or 3) people born in Cincinnati

Skyline is pretty much skyline, but this place had friendly service and some cool murals of Cincinnati on the wall. You could tell the people took pride in working there. It was also ventilated well, so you didn’t leave with steamy Skyline smell all over you.

I made my way to Cincinnati three years ago and was introduced to the wonder that is Skyline Chili. I was dubious at first. I mean, who wouldn’t be? It sounds… well… odd. Chili piled on spaghetti? Um, what? This Colorado girl turned Bostonian was outright baffled. But I’m now officially a Skyline convert. My yearly sojourn to the great city of Cincinnati isn’t complete unless I get a 5-way and a coney. I just cannot ever move to Cinci because between Skyline, Busken, and LaRosa’s I’d probably weight 300 pounds.

Went through the drive thru and ordered the deluxe chili burrito and baked potato. The chili burrito was ok– but I think I just paid for more shredded lettuce and will get the regular burrito next time. The potato was a potato… But with the shredded cheese Skyline has it was an amazing potato.

I tried the 4 way chili(w/onions) and a coney. The food was fair, but the seasoning what just different. Not great nor bad, just different. My taste buds has a perception of what chili should taste like and the seasoning where unusual to me. At the end of the day I would still recommend anyone visiting Cincinnati to definitely try the chili.

I will preface this review by stating that I highly dislike chili, and if I eat chilli, I am incredibly picky. That, and that I grew up in Cincinnati, so I have been toted around to Skyline Chili restaurants my entire life. I still have some bitter tastes about how everyone in every high school thought Skyline was the perfect place to go for everything. When I lived in Oakley, we came here every now and then just for kicks. My husband is okay with it, but mostly it was just close by and why not. They were always nice, quick, and got our order right. For someone who orders spaghetti and cheese, I guess that doesn’t mean much, but it gets messed up now and then. They also give you lots of crackers. In terms of food — it’s fine. I can’t tell you much because I absolutely detest Skyline chili, but everyone else seems to love it, so trust them, not me.
