I stop by here often on my way to work, for bagels and petit fours. Yes, sometimes a girl has to eat petit fours for breakfast, don’t judge me. The selection is always great, and I’ve never left dissapointed. They are quick and convenient when picking up previously made orders, and everything I’ve had here is always delicious. On a fun note, if you ever stop by here on national donut day, be sure to do it extremely early as they ran out by 11 am this year. Always good for lunch, and any kind of party, although sometimes there’s a tad of a lack of organization behind the counter, but hey, everyone is human.

It’s not often I treat myself with the wondrous delicacies found in local bakeries. I was sent to Servattis this afternoon to fetch rolls for my grandmother’s dinner. The cashier greeted me woefully. After finding the rolls, I stumbled upon some cheese dip. I thought that sounded lovely as an after dinner snack to share with my father. I grabbed a bag of pretzels to accompany the cheese. As soon as my hand grasped the bag of pretzels I head«No! Those are for sandwiches. Not cheese. No, not those» come from another employee across the store. The cashier joined her in denying me the bag of pretzels. Apparently, in order to enjoy the cheese it must be with the appropriate soft pretzels. I was appaled and embarrassed. The workers were rude, the pretzel forced upon me was sub-par, and it was overall a traumatic experience.

They use box cake mix to make their cakes. They are NOT homemade! Ripoffs!

Scrumptious and affordable treats served by friendly people — doesn’t get much better than my recent first experience at the Servatii’s at Harper’s Point. While I’ve have Servatii’s catered lunches before and have greatly enjoyed their sandwiches served on their famous pretzel buns, I’d never actually entered a storefront before or had their sugary treats. This is a mistake. I wandered in there one afternoon after discovering that my beloved Donna’s is closed on Mondays. Um, hello, bright and cheery little Servatii’s café/bakery shop! After ogling the displays of delicious-looking treats, I requested a frosted brownie and one butter cookie. ***Cincinnati, can we take a minute for me to rave about those little twirls of spritz-like butter cookies, always bedazzled in the center with a dollop of bright, almost candy-like, creamy frosting?! These little cookies, non-too sweet, that entice from every Busken, Graeters and(now I discover) Servatii’s?! I’ve never seen them anywhere else but Cincinnati, and man, they are sooooo good! Just perfect little morsels of melt-in-your-mouth, elegant-but-playful goodness. Okay, I’m done. Well, the lovely and sweet lady behind the counter handed me the brownie and gave me the cookie for free, since according to her they are only sold by weight, and they gave them to kids all the time for free, so I should have one as well. I decided she was brilliant and that I loved her. Did I mention, the brownie(which was one of the softest but chewiest, fudgey-but-with-a-tender-crumb brownies, iced with creamy frosting), was literally 99 cents total? I am definitely adding Servatii’s to my regular sweets rotation now(my poor thighs are screaming, but oh well).

Just went into the Harper’s Point location. While I’ve had the food at different functions, I’ve never gone into a shop. This location is one of the few that has a deli, though we didn’t get anything. But Gina is a great sales woman, very engaging, asking if you’ve ever had this or that. We wound up buying a bag of pretzels and 4 different dips and she sold us on a large cream puff because«in three weeks they’ll be gone for the rest of the year».

Servatii’s hits the spot with sandwiches and bread. They’re decently delicious and their catered pretzel sandwich bites are great… but that’s about it. I’ve never eaten in at a Servatii’s location but I’ve been fortunate to have attended countless events with catered goodies and fresh sweets on Friday morning breakfast days, and if you want diabetes, this is the place to get it! Their sweet baked goods aren’t inventive and they taste like sweets you’d get from your grocery store. A step up from packaged, but not by much. They’re good, but only if you have one bite. From there, its a diminishing return with added spikes to your blood sugar and sugar coated regret. They’re pretzel is good, but I would never go out of my way for it.

The husband and I stopped in at Servatii intending to pick up a couple of pastries to tide us over until dinner, and we were impressed by the extensive selection. We left with four sweets, and everything we had was tasty and of good quality. Decent prices, too — a little over $ 4.00 for our selection. We will definitely return to check out some more goodies.

Delicious pretzels and dips, chicken salad and everything else. Friendly staff to boot. I stop here at least twice a week for my morning joe. Go for the Highlander Grog.

Servatii’s is a must-try in Cincinnati. This is a popular local bakery that is family-owned. There are now 13 locations across the city, so if this one isn’t close to you, look for one of the others! They are well known for their fabulous baked goods, including cakes, cookies, breads, pastries, and more. This location also features deli options, including sandwiches, salads, and soups. They also do breakfast with breakfast sandwiches and quiche options, and they have tables for eating-in, if desired. They also offer fabulous European-style goods… the Bavarian pretzels are amazing. There is a lot to look at in the bread racks and in the cases, and there are periodic specials to discover when you stop in. They don’t currently have the space to produce gluten-free goods, but I was most recently in because my gluten-eating husband loves pretzels and pretzel bread, so I knew there was only one place to go while in town: Servatii’s. I picked up a package of four pretzel rolls, and they were having a two for $ 2 special on the Bavarian pretzels, so I grabbed two of those. He greatly enjoyed these treats, so thankfully the nice employee also told me I can get extras of the pretzel bread and freeze them for later! Parking is plentiful in the shopping center.

I really enjoy old school bakeries. Especially, one with a «we been around for ever» feel. Atmosphere: Clean, 50’s style local bakery chain with that neighborhood vibe Selection: Cakes, cookies, pies, bread, rolls, buns, seasonal items(e.g. Hot Cross Buns), pre-made salads, and soups. Quality: This place reminds me of the local Polish/European bakeries I would go to as a child. Freshly made items that have a great homemade taste. The Hot Cross Buns I purchased contained raisins and candied fruit. These delicious items were crossed with a thick vanilla frosting that would be just at home on a red velvet cupcake as it was on these buns. Service: Friendly, concerned, helpful Price: Definitely good for the quality received…6 Pack of the best Hot Cross Buns I have ever had…$ 5.50. As a comparison, that is the price of just one fancy brownie in Charlotte, NC. Overall: What keeps places like this busy is good pricing and excellent quality. While growing up in PA, this is the kind of place my grandmother would send me to every Wednesday and Saturday to pickup her order. If I am ever in Cincinnati again I will be sure to visit one of their locations.

Since moving north, this is our go to Servatii’s and it is a very nice one. This location is in the shops of Harpers Point right by Orange Leaf Yogurt and Kroger. My mom and I came here to place an order for my graduation cake and the staff were professional and really helped with our questions. The cake look great and was nice and moist with butter cream frosting. I love pretzels and the addition of the California raisin walnut pretzel stick is a great one.

Always a great selection of desserts … picked up a raspberry cheesecake for a party. Couldn’t miss getting some of their pretzel bread too. Worth a visit!

Located in The Shops at Harper’s Point, this Cincinnati tradition is thriving! Great Pastries, Cakes & Stone Hearth Baked Breads & Soft Pretzels. Serrvatti’s is famous for so many things such as their Seasonal items. Those great family traditions that you just have to have like: Schnecken, Irish Soda Bread, Hot Cross Buns, King Cake, Yule Log & Paczki Donuts {pronounced«PUNCH-KEY”}. This location also has a Deli that serves traditional Sandwiches, Soups & Salads… I recommend the Chicken Salad on thier Salted Rye {I’m kind of a chicken salad snob & this one is tops» in my book} or the the Trio-Salad that give you a generous helping of their Egg, Tuna & Chicken Salads. For a «wow-facter» at your next party, try the Deli-Stuffed Pretzel. The Pretzel it self is 3lb with 3 more pounds of meat & ½ lb of cheese & all the trditional garden you expect on a sandwich. I stop by every weekend to get a loaf of Butter Crust or Crusty Italian. So convenient for me, it’s in the same mall as Kroger, Widmer’s & CooksWares so I can get all me errands done without driving all over town. Servatti’s is truely a Cincinnati Gem!

Lunch Jan 18 This is a real bakery folks — Fresh bread and pastries galore and they serve great soups and sandwiches! Hot Ham Melt sandwich on a sesame pretzel was outstanding. Not a huge sandwich, just the right balance of ingredients and very fresh. Tomato Florentine Soup was a great warmer upper on a cold day. If you get a soup make sure you get the Pretzel Roll and not the crackers! How I got out of there with out getting a dessert is a miracle! Everything looked so good! Instead of waiting in line at Panera’s give this place a try!

Cheese Pocket. Rustic Rye. These are pretty much the only reason I go to Servatii. Not all the pastries are good. Some of the cookies are stale tasting. And I don’t usually eat cake that isn’t homemade, but someone bought a «Flower Basket» cake for a shower I threw and it was pretty good. There was way, way, way too much icing, but the cake was moist. Their rye bread toasted and slathered in butter is the perfect hangover cure.

While you hear a lot in Cincinnati about Busken Bakery and The Bonbonerie, don’t forget about another great place in town, Servatii Pastry Shop & Deli. Servatii has nine area locations, six of which have a deli, including the Symmes Township location at the Shops at Harper’s Point. I’ve had their delicious cookies, and some of their other baked goods and pastries, so I know that the bakery part is great. What I’ve never known much about, however, was their deli. I’m very big on sandwiches and always like to grab some lunch on the weekends, and I think I may have found a good new place in Servatii. The Deli offers soups($ 3.25), salads($ 4.75), deli sandwiches($ 4.95: and soup/salad, soup/sandwich combos for $ 7.35 and $ 6.35, respectively), quiche($ 4.25, $ 12.95 for whole pie), hot breakfast sandwiches($ 2.95), and signature specialties like the Smoked Bavarian Sandwich and the Original Deli-Stuffed Pretzel($ 4.95-$ 6.25), while they also have a kids option($ 3.65) and do box lunches too($ 6.70). As you can tell, the prices seem to be very reasonable. When I hear the name Servatii, I always think bakery, but now I have reason to think deli too. The pastries and other baked goods are great, but the deli menu looks good and there is plenty of seating –including outdoors – so it’s worth checking out for lunch too.

If you’ve ever been to a wedding in Cincinnati and sampled a cake that left you speechless, it was probably from Servatii. The most recent wedding I attended featured a Servatii cake that was a delightful combination of dark chocolate cake filled with tart raspberry filling. The icing(butter) was so rich I had to scrape it off, but if you’re a die-hard icing fan, you’ll appreciate the creaminess and flavor. Wedding cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious; check out their web site’s wedding brochure page for some pictures! Cakes are very pricey, which accounts for Servatti’s one star deduction. Besides wedding cakes, Servatti’s location off Montgomery Road also features delicious muffins(blueberry is my favorite) and Bavarian bagels which are a cross between a bagel and a soft-pretzel(yum!). These treats are cheap and perfect for a quick bite of breakfast or lunch on the run.
