My friend and I joke that we’re going to visit all the Ruby’s in Cincinnati to find the best one — and this one was not it. I’ll start by declaring my love for Ruby’s, obvi because of the salad bar. I’m not one to admit to eating at franchises, but there’s something about their salad bar that cannot be beat. But, instead of raving about how delightful those croutons are or how savory the complimentary cheesy biscuits are, I’ll instead focus on how the service was lackluster and unimpressive. Our server wasn’t over-the-top helpful, and — get this — I actually had to ASK for my complimentary cheesy biscuits. This was not only disappointing, but also worrisome that there could potentially be customers who came in as first time salad bar go-ers, and weren’t offered the single best part of the salad bar. Geesh. Aside from the subpar service, our meal was delightful as always, and we will continue our quest to find the Queen of all Ruby’s in the Queen City.

Fairly average… basically what you’d expect out of a chain restaurant. Went in while on a work trip on a seemingly slow Monday night. Had a couple of beers and a burger. Not a great beer selection… would think even large chains would try to get something local. I’m guessing the burger was frozen… it had the same perfect shape and size as the guy sitting next to me. First time I’d seen a salad bar in a while, but it all looked fresh. Waitstaff and bartender were friendly, though nobody at the door to greet folks walking in.

What distinguishes a standard chain restaurant like Ruby Tuesday from other chains or even another Ruby Tuesday is the service. We went to this one because it was July 4th and it was open. And it was busy. The kitchen was slammed. But our server Lauren H kept us informed and then comped our appetizer. To our pleasant surprise the manager, Michael, gave us dessert on the house because the kitchen was slow. We all enjoyed our food(I had the Hickory Bourbon Salmon which was very nice). The service it what made the meal. Thanks.

Beer selection typical of a chain… Miller Lite, Bud Light, Blue Moon, Sam Adams. Typical blah mass brew choices. They need to localize a bit and offer some regional Craft Beers. Salad Bar good as always… reminds me of the 80’s but more sanitary I.e. Sneeze Guard.

Ha ha, OK, first, my wife’s steak ordered medium comes out looking like the heel off my dress shoe– it was literally black and about ¼″ thick, and she could barely cut it with her knife. I’ve never seen worse, never. It should have never left the kitchen. I tried to get a picture but the waiter ran up and grabbed it before I could get my camera focused. Mine was ordered medium rare, it came out chewy and definitely medium well. I cut it open, showed it to the manager and asked if it looked medium rare to him. He replied, in all seriousness, «I don’t know, I’m not that good with colors.» !!! # tiny shrimp and a crapola steak for $ 14.99? Umm, no thanks. The salad bar was OK, the only reason there’s two stars. Otherwise, it was a shameless ripoff. Please, someone open a few more decent restaurants in this area.

I have to say this is a really poorly managed and inconsistent place to eat. At best it is o.k. But it is normally really bad. They keep giving you free meals and coupons for more free meals but why would you want to come back or a bad free meal and more coupons. Horrible is about the best I can say

The food was a B-. The service was a B-. My big problem was the gnats that I had to fight with the whole meal! Never had that problem before.

I went here last night with my sisters for dinner and I have been there a few other times. I wasn’t so impressed this time. It seems like this time around they had crammed in a lot more table and we were literally sitting on top of each other. Being that I am quite pregnant I didn’t want to sit at a booth so we opted for a table. We were barely able to walk in-between the tables to get to our seats. When getting up to get things from the salad bar it was quite a squeeze getting up and down. Our server was really nice and she was on top of things so that was nice. Some of the prices on the chef inspired items were a bit much if you ask me. However, what I got was pretty good and I ate it all ad enjoyed! I wasn’t able to check out the bathroom as many of you know that I always try and do for you :). Overall this was okay and I would return to this establishment. One thing that I must say is, if you have a big or a nice size group that you want to take I don’t this is the best place because of the crammed table situation.

I really like the food at Ruby Tuesday, and their menu is rather large. They have everything from steak and seafood to burgers and pasta. And then there’s the salad bar, which is nice. They don’t have a whole lot of different things on the bar, but it’s enough to make a nice yummy salad. The service is really good, even on busier days. They really try to keep up with everything going on and our server Jenna was super friendly. The thing I don’t like about this restaurant is that they really cram the tables in there. You’re right on top if the person next to you, so if you like a lot of personal space and privacy, ask for a booth!

I have eaten here a couple of times. I must say I just have not enjoyed the food for the most part. The«fresh bar» aka salad bar is just ok. The one thing I really like is the white bean chicken chili. That I would give 4 stars. Everything else about this restaraunt is so so to poor. The last visit we sat in a booth which was very small to the point of annoying. The service has been fairly poor. One time they forgot my entrée and brought me a second bowl of chili. While the chili is good I really wasn’t up for two bowls. Then another time there was the dirty dishes. The wine carafe had stuff stuck on the side of it. When one of my fellow diners finished their wine there was stuff in the bottom of the glass, too. Only after asking was the wine charge removed from the bill.

They serve more than just broccoli as a vegetable side, which a is a good sign. Had dinner here as it is next door to my hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Thought the menu had a good range of foods and the service was perfectly okay. I would eat here again.

We stopped in after a Reds/Brewers game for a bite at about 11:30pm. They closed at midnight, but our server wasn’t trying to hustle us out which is nice. We grabbed the salad bar(I know, who eats salad at midnight? After a certain amount of beer it seems like a good idea). Since we were 30 minutes from close, I was surprised to find that everything was well stocked, fresh and tasty. So, if you get a salad craving at 11pm, RT has you covered.

I went here today for lunch. My date and I waited for 10 minutes prior to being greeted, not that they were busy… I started with chardonay. Fruit flies followed it to the table. Gross! Cover your liquor during the night/keep white wines in the fridge and this wont be a problem! My broccoli soup was good other than shooing the flies the whole time. my grilled chicken salad was okay. The flies seemed to enjoy it more than me. The server had no idea which bourbons they served. Not great.

Went with a couple friends to this Ruby Tuesday’s the other day. I don’t know if anyway knows this, but sandwiches on pretzel bread are the greatest things on the planet. This place has a chicken BLT on pretzel bread that you can’t beat with a giant stick. Also, the manager is a guy named, Nick. He was great. He made sure we were getting everything we needed, and stopped and talked to us to make sure everything was going smoothly. Remember…Chicken BLT on pretzel bread… EATIT!
