Very nice remodeling job. Wanted to get lunch but really not a restaurant, Thought this was going to have food selection. Nice décor though.

Cute ambiance, good chicken salad sandwich for a good value. Great at night too for ice cream or floats.

This place is so cute! I love how much effort and work the community put into rehabbing the historic train station after years of neglect. The inside is so much cleaner and comfortable now. I don’t know what kind of food other people are expecting to eat at a place called«Root Beer Junction», but it definitely met my expectations. I would recommend the chicken salad; it is so delicious! P. S.- Blaming the City Counsel members? Really? Stay classy, Madeira.

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch after I picked her up from a summer day camp at Creativities, just across the street. She had a «walking taco», which she LOVED. I had the Bulldog with sauerkraut, onions and mustard. It was also excellent. We shared a two scoop rootbeer float, which was delicious. Along with our meals we received little cups of really delicious seasoned oyster crackers. Sounds like a small thing, but they really were very good and a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back with the rest of the family! We doubted it at first but then we tried it and loved it.

So unlike RC and MK I think this place is more than a concession stand but agree not really gourmet hotdogs. But it’s not like Madeira needs another overpriced… Oh La la restaurant that the food it’s that great and I’m paying too much for it because it says gourmet, being a Madeira resident for over 15 years that’s the last thing we need is another place like that. You keep it the same Bill it’s kid friendly… Family friendly. And doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. There should be no high expectations it’s called«root beer junction» not Les junction de maderia. So keep it the same Bill and all those snobs who like to flash their money and say words like it has to be gourmet and spend money because it does are always going to be worried about other peoples opinions before having one of there own… So just Suck It!!! And let Bill run his business.

I’m not quite sure why anyone is pitching a biatch. I walked in, was waited on immediately. I got the«Mustang» in a matter of a couple minutes from the former owner of JK Chili, Jerry! The Nathans(it’s impossible to make a Nathan’s dog taste bad) hot dog was cooked perfectly, covered in mild chili, cheese and onions with a side of seasoned oyster crackers. ALL of the staff was friendly and cordial. I’m certain that I’ll be stopping by for lunch frequently since this place is a 3 minute walk from my house. Way to go Bill!

Madeira deserved better. It’s basically a confession stand smack in the middle of a commuting neighborhood center. It would make sense if there was walk-up traffic, say at the Loveland bike trail, or in Mariemont, but to get anywhere in Madeira you need a car, and who gets in their car specifically to grab a hot dog? This place is confusing, poorly run, and not worth your time to drive to. Keep concession food at HS football games. Madeira deserved more than this.

It would have been nicer to have a full service restaurant. But, we do like having a place to come for ice cream on warm nights. The people who work there are friendly and welcoming.
