Terrible place. Aggressive sales tactics. Bad customer service. Expensive. I would not come here again nor recommend it

I have been a member at PBT for a couple years, on and off. I like that they have the ability to freeze your membership, which allows you to pay a much lower price(about $ 8/mo) and maintain your promotional pricing that you have plus not have to pay a start up fee again when you want to start tanning. The $ 8 a month turns into«tan dollars» which allows you to use that toward your next month when you start tanning again and/or use it for lotions. This location is always clean and seems to have everything I need when I need it. They do have stand up beds, which I try to use every other time that I go, but they have less available so due to my schedule sometimes I have to skip the stand up and go for a lay down(which they have more than enough of). I never seem to have to wait for a bed. The people are all friendly and welcoming when you come in. I don’t like that when you’re purchasing products you do not get an itemized receipt. I always question what I bought and how much everything is… but when you start getting into using tan dollars and discounts it can start to get confusing. I would really like to see some transparency in this area as I think it would provide some peace of mind. Also– product prices are a little high in my opinion. I really like the California Tan Tekkton lotion– but can find it for almost half the price they offer it else where. The staff will always tell you that if you get it from somewhere that is not a salon they can not guarantee that it is legit. Just as with any purchase you’re making from a 3rd party seller. Unfortunately I always fight with this and they would gain all my business if there wasn’t such a big difference in price. I know PBT is a franchise, so they might not be in control of product pricing but it seems that the company would understand even if it is less profit per item you would sell more qty and your customers would be happier– i.e. returning business and happy customers! :) Overall, I like this salon and I like this location. I just have these two complaints, constructive criticism… tanning today.
