Paint Nite

LOVE Paint Nite! So well done from the set-​up, supplies, instruction & over-​all atmosphere! We have been 3 times & are eager to go back! We attended 1 Paint Nite in Beaver Creek & 2 in Troy, OH!

Last night a friend and I attended a Paint Nite at Fox & Hound in Fairfield Commons. We also snagged the Groupon for $ 25/​person (hint: use ebates for Groupon purchases and earn an extra percentage in cash back). It was a lot of fun! This was their initial foray into the Dayton area, so there were lots of bonus door prizes and raffles. In the end, you took your piece of art home with you, ready to grace your walls with your creative prowess. Like magic or something!
My *only* complaint was that, at times, the instructions weren’t completely clear. But as we understood it, this was a training session for the new artists. Our pictures still came out beautifully.
Also, heads-​up — there was one guy in the room. I really wanted my husband to join me, but in hindsight I’m glad I took a girlfriend. That would have been very awkward for him.
A solid 4-​star time, and we’ll definitely do it again!

Had a blast! Great date night and if the people in my group are any indication a great girl’s night out.
I like that this company goes to different venues to have painting parties. It allows you to check out a place you might otherwise have never visited which makes it super easy to surprise someone. Guys, make the reservations online and take your lady out to dinner or for drinks and surprise her when the painting party starts!
Our facilitator was Rachel and she was awesome. She dumbed it down enough that even I felt like I was doing okay! The fact that they visit different places to hold the parties is probably the reason why there are so few reviews here but the night I went if we had all reviewed there would be twenty more 5 star reviews on here. We all had a good time and it was fun meeting new people and going outside my comfort zone to do something new. Will definitely do this again!

I absolutely loved Paint Nite! It was only $ 25/​person on Groupon so my friend and I decided to give it a try. The voucher included everything except the drinks! They even included an apron to help protect your clothes.
We had our Paint Nite at Arnie’s on the Levee in Newport.
Our instructor was a great teacher, but encouraged creativity. You can pick the painting before you go, or you can pick a day where they surprise you. The only thing I wish they changed was the availability of colors. Our painting involved a gradient background and it would’ve been nice if we could pick the colors to change up the mood a little.
I though it was a very relaxing activity and it was just nice to sip on a drink, talk, and let my creative juices flow. It was a perfect girl’s night out activity, but I think I’d enjoy it as a date thing too.
I’d definitely do this again and again until I fill my wall with paintings!
