I have been eating here since they have opened. Sam and Mimi have nailed it, the Thai pepper chicken is always made fresh that day, and is worth the wait if Sam is still cooking. Another item the Goetta eggroll is out of this world, great combo of Thai and Cincinnati. If you have not tried it for lunch or carryout, you should

I wish I could give this place less than one star. I tried this on the recommendation of another customer. The eggroll was less than stellar. I’ve had better eggrolls frozen from Costco. And the pad Thai with shrimp that I ordered had the most horrendous sauce I’ve ever put my mouth!

I ate there 3 days last week! The vegetarian eggs rolls are amazing, and you can tell they are homemade. The chicken fried rice was great as well. Normally I have to use a lot of soy sauce but it was not needed!

Great curry with veggie and meat options. The egg rolls were delicious– tried the pork and gotta. They were both exceptional! Quick and friendly service, too!

Sam and Mimi, you have done it again! Everyone needs to run, not walk…(maybe even take a red bike to get you there faster). to Mimi’s. They have knocked it out of the ballpark right in time for Allstar week with their newest menu item. Goetta egg rolls. That’s right, you heard me. Goetta egg rolls. Let that sink in for a minute… The Porkopolis Capital’s main food group– goetta, had found its way tucked into Mimi’s famous egg rolls. Snuggled up next to some cabbage and shredded carrot, the spicy Cincy staple is folded into a wonton wrapper and then fried to crispy deliciousness. Dip that roll into the sweet chili sauce and your mouth thinks it’s the Fourth of July, fireworks and all. I ordered an entire tray of them for a family get together tonight. Every single one is gone. Gone. Before I could even take a photo.(Good thing they don’t know about the 5 I snuck into the freezer.) My dad has more sweat on his brow than he ever works up in the gym. Way to go Mimi’s, you have won the seal of approval from not only Dad’s stomach, but also as my new favorite Cincy spot. I’ll be seeing you guys again soon!

Really good curry and friendly service. Everything tastes very fresh. The egg roll had a nice crispy light dough. My only complaint would be that I got a vegetable curry and the only vegetable in it was potato… not really what I was expecting. But it was definitely tasty and very affordable, I’ll be back!

We picked up lunch to go from Mimi’s at Findlay. The food is already cooked and waiting to be scooped out and not made to order. I had the red curry and my husband had the pad thai. My curry was very spicy! And I eat spicy food! So, beware. It tasted fine but basically only good to the extent that food that’s been sitting on hot pans will taste. The husband wasn’t a huge fan of the pad thai. This is okay in a pinch, but probably not my preference in the future when deciding between tasty food options at Findlay.

I’ve been here a few times now. Both the yellow and red curries are ok. They cook the proteins separately from the sauces, so the flavors don’t get cooked into them. It’s really like a food service sort of place. Passable, but nothing exciting. I’d recommend hitting up Phở Lang Thang for some more authentic fare(if they’re not swamped). The lunch deal is pretty cheap though, so a good value, I guess. I wouldn’t avoid it, but I’d never really get excited about it. Bottom Line: I’d be back if it was convenient, but even so, there are many better options.

I had the special– an eggroll and curry bowl with a drink. The veggie egg roll was good sized, crispy, warm, and VERY tasty. I could eat a few of these as a snack, for sure. The curry bowl was good, I got the mild(I believe) with potato and chicken. It was good, filing, but could use something more. I’m not sure what was missing, maybe a different texture than rice and curry– something with crispiness? That may deviate from a traditional curry bowl, yes, but bean sprouts, snap peas, carrots, something on top with crisp and texture, would have really made the bowl pop. The eggrolls are GREAT. The bowl was decent. I’d go back and I’m glad they are part of Findlay. I’m interested to see how things go at Mimi’s.

This place is good! I hope it sticks around longer than the one before! I recommend trying the egg-rolls(it appears it’s their specialty), and it was really good. I tried the chicken one, and thought it was pretty tasty, but maybe a little bit on the greasy(or oily) side. They had two curry bowls — mild & hot. I went for the hot one it was true to its word. It was a little peculiar because it had eggplant in it… I’ll admit, I ate around that, but the rest was fine. The guy even gave me a taste of the mild one, and it was good — I think I’ll try that one next time. They give options of meat(or sans meat) in each, but it’s not cooked into — he puts the rice in the bowl, tops it with the meat & then the sauce, so the full flavor isn’t completely there, but over all it’s worth trying!

Ok, they just opened up, so not sure if they will rotate the menu. But they offered one type of bowl with your choice of protein, and an egg roll, also with your choice of fillings. They had chicken, beef, pork, and veggie. First, the Egg Rolls. SOGOOD. I could pig out on these rolls. The Curry was also tasty, not a lot of chicken, but filling and very Chow worthy. A great addition to the market, hope they stick around.
