I made an appointment for an oil change and mentioned that I would be on my lunch break. I showed up on time, and was told that it would be at least 45 minutes before they could even look at my car. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and polite, but his confusion made it seem like my appointment wasn’t in their system. He told me that he would reduce the price to $ 15 if I would reschedule for the following week, which I did. I show up the next week, and a different gentleman checks me in and takes my keys. One hour later and I can see my car has remained parked. I told him that I needed my keys and had to leave. He went into the garage bay and I saw him talking to the gentleman from my first attempt for several minutes(literally). He came back out front, started talking to someone else, and handed me my keys without a word. My choice for routine maintenance was a coin flip between the Midas on my way to work or the mom-and-pop place in my neighborhood. At least my decision was made for me.

Went here to get an oil change and brake pads on my Jetta. Called a week in advance to drop the car off at 8am so i could get a ride back to work and so the car would be done by noon. That afternoon I’m told I need new rotors, tires and a battery which would have been 1400 bucks as opposed to 200 or so. I caved for the rotors; big mistake. Next thing I know its 4pm and they still have my car. at 5pm after being in the waiting room for 4 hours they tell me they cant find the rotors for my car but I can come back tomorrow. Needless to say i asked for my money back and my car as well. The staff was helpful and I know they did their best and honestly, I could tell they cared and felt bad they couldn’t help me, but I will not be going to a Midas anytime soon to get something worked on.
