Great place for a party! We used the party room today for my son’s 1st. We fit about 30 of us, room for buffet pizza/salad and some little people games. Corey, the manager, was very helpful and wait-persons, Hope and Anna, we friendly and efficient. Excellent service, good pricing! Thank you, La Rosa’s!

I hadn’t heard of LaRosa’s before we got to Cincinnati, but it didn’t take long to realize that the place is an institution around there. So we made sure to make time and try it out. Not disappointed. Good job, Cincinnati. A couple of us got 8″ pizzas, loaded with enough toppings to be a filling meal on their own. My sister-in-law got a calzone, which she was pleased to see was actually an appropriate size for one person to eat. Everything was delicious. Not anything you’re going to rave about for hours, but it was all flavorful and tasty. The wings we got were a little disappointing. The sauce was good(Montgomery Inn sauce), but the meat was obviously not choice chicken wings. A bit chewy really. I probably wouldn’t get those a second time.

Great Pizza. I always have to eat there when I’m in town to visit woodworking stores in the area. Wish we would had one in Lexington.

Love the sweet sauce! Amazing pizza, good delivery time cost more than average pizza but worth the price! Would come back!

Another favorite pizza place in Cincinnati. LaRosa’s is a small local chain that I have been a fan of since forever. We ordered pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and salads. Fantastic pizza as always. Love the garlic cheese bread and large selection for delivery. Always a fan of the pasta and pizza sauce. Love the sweetness. Our order was late to arrive and so not as warm as we would have liked, but stuff happens.

I like LaRosa’s. It’s a local staple in the pizza/pasta world. A lot of Cincy transplants or visitors don’t like it, but I can’t help it… I grew up on this stuff. This location has improved itself a lot since the days when I used to visit it as a kid. Over the last 5 years or so, they have done a remodel, which is nice. Everything still looks pretty new. I’ve always had great, friendly service on every occasion I’ve visited this particular location. It’s in a good spot, in a shopping plaza that’s not as busy across from the Tri-County Mall. It’s close to my church, so I will definitely stop in here again on another occasion.

Way back when, Coney Island amusement park closed and Kings Island opened. At that time, they had partners such as Marathon Oil and LaRosa’s Pizza. When my family would go to the park, we’d stop at one location somewhat central that served LaRosa’s pizza. We only ever got pepperoni pizza and it never seemed to be fresh but we were young and it was good. Fast forward to today and I stopped at this store, since I was over at Sam’s Club and it was convenient. Had I known that I would spend over $ 12.00 for lunch, I would have thought twice about going there. The closest experience I have is when I go to Cassano’s Pizza in the Dayton area. I get a 9 inch Deluxe and drink for just under $ 10.00, and I don’t have to tip anyone. At LaRosa’s, I got an 8 inch Deluxe, for which onions were an extra ingredient and the Mello Yello was $ 2.19. I left a $ 2.00 tip, so the pizza and drink + tax were just over $ 10.00. It’s not much different really. The pizza was good, but not great. The thin crust was nicely crispy without tasting like crackers and the ingredients seemed good quality, but there was something missing, and I’m not sure what didn’t taste quite right. I liked it, but I don’t think I would drive 50 miles for it, as I have for Cassano’s pizza. Elizabeth, the waitress was both helpful and friendly and seemed to be handling the whole dining room by herself. Well done.

This was a really nice,(Not busy at all on a Saturday night) pizza joint. The staff was okay… not great. But, the pizza, as always from Larosas, was termondous.

This location is bad. The quality of food here just isn’t what it is at other locations, and they are pretty prone to screwing up all or at least part of what you order, which gets to be a pain when you’re ordering at work and on a time limit for eating. Try a different location, you’ll probably have better luck.

This was my second visit to this particular Larosa’s location. I was really hoping that my first visit would be better than my last. Sadly it wasn’t. Our order was correct, but my pizza was lukewarm, and my husbands fries were overcooked. Our server was not interested in exchanging any pleasantries even though the restaurant was not busy at all. They did have the restaurant decorated in a fun Halloween décor. I still like Larosa’s and their JoJo salad, but I will choose other locations for my next visit. We tried our best to locate an area of Larosa’s where we could recommend hiding or setting up defense during a zombie attack. We even asked our waitress about their zombie emergency plan. Apparently there is none. The bathrooms were totally inadequate as a hiding spot, and the front of the restaurant is all windows. My recommendation would be to find the fastest way to evacuate during a zombie attack. You would be helpless here.

Pizza was ordered after disaster from national chain. Pizza was adequate and was good since we were starving. However, it’s no better than any other mom and pop pizza joint, but better than the national chains. Delivery time was almost an hour and fifteen minutes after order when I was quoted 45.

I think I’ve been avoiding writing a review of LaRosa’s for so long because I knew how negative it would be and didn’t want to put myself in a sour mood. I think, though, that now is the time. Here goes… I dislike LaRosa’s with a passion. It upsets me whenever Cincinnati ans with out of town visitors take them to a location or order in the pizza claiming«Cincinnati’s best!» because it is SONOT. Here is why: 1. The sauce is WAY too sweet. Almost Ketchup-y to my taste buds. Yuck. 2. The cheese is always waxy and is more provolone than mozzarella. Plus, they cover it in processed Parmesan. I’m a cheese lover but this combination is just not good. 3. The crust(traditional) is bland and chewy and just not good. The only reason that I’m not giving LaRosa’s one star is because thankfully, in recent years, the restaurant has expanded its menu to include a few decent hoagies(the Italian with dressing instead of pizza sauce is pretty darn good) and now has online ordering so I am able to order a Calazone to my exact specifications(read: Spinach, Ricotta, Tomato, Bacon with Garlic dipping sauce instead of Pizza). If you must go to LaRosa’s instead of say, Dewey’s or Adriatico’s, DONOTORDERTHEPIZZA. Or if you absolutely have to, please note that it is NOT Cincinnati’s best. Thanks.
