Japanese Karate-DO Shotokan

My husband is an expert in a variety of martial arts, and took his time by visiting a few martial arts schools in the Cincinnati area. Finally, he decided on Japanese Karate-​Do, because he thought the instructor was very grounded, patient and posessed great skills. So we decided to enroll both our boys, ages 6 and 8.
Mr. Kim and his wife, Jessica, are both very personable and dedicated to their students. We’ve been going there for less than a year, and there has been transformation, especially with my eldest; his confidence has sky rocketed and I think it’s due to his karate classes. Martial arts teaches you dedication, commitment, and confidence… especially when you must perform in front of your peers at certain times.
You can tell how good the instructor is by his students. Both my husband and I can tell that his older/​advanced students really knows their stuff.

The club is the Mid-​western headquarter of the World Traditional Karate Organization that brings visiting instructors from other parts of the country and from abroad.
