I just moved here from Mississippi, I know good BBQ and this is it. When the BBQ is good without the BBQ sauce you have good BBQ.

Great place! Quality wood smoked BBQ in Cincinnati. The chicken quarter is delicious as well as the ribs. I wish all the hot and cold sides were available year round instead of seasonally, but that’s my only gripe.
Give this place a try the next time you want some tasty bbq take out.

The ribs are huge and tender. The pulled pork sandwich is great but get the bun on the side so it doesn’t get soggy.
The Mac and cheese has bbq flavor and is the over cooked soggy noodle type.
The thing that holds this place back is the interior. The open space one the middle is weird and it looks very last minute thrown together.

Kept wanting to stop by here but it wasn’t open finally got there the food is great the ribs slabs were good and tender hardly any fat the sauce is on the side which I really enjoyed the cornbread salad is to die for. The people were so nice and friendly great place to eat or carryout. And everything is homemade!

Went and got some carryout on Saturday. I had the ribs and a few sides. The ribs were good but for my taste they were a little bland. They were very tender and had a good taste I just look for a little more intensity in my smoked foods.

Visiting home (Cincinnati) and had this! I had the red hot sausage, pulled pork sandwich & cornbread salad. It was amaze balls seriously! You can definitely tell this is a great spot for a party due to the large space but most importantly, the food people! Don’t even question this as an option its worth it. Ask for Ms. Shine & thank me later!

I had the chicken and cornbread salad. Both were outstanding. The meat was hot out the smoker, juicy, tender perfect.

I never paid much attention to this place, I drive by here every day. Today we stopped by since we were at the ligi and were craving ribs. They were out of ribs, but my son got the rib tips and I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of cornbread salad. This place is AMAZING, we ordered to go and when I got home I scarfed down my sandwich. It had so much pork and it was so yummy. They give you a lot of food for the price. The cornbread salad was delicious and really compliments the BBQ. We are already planning to go back to get some ribs. If you haven’t been here, give this place a try you will not be disappointed it is so delicious!!!

So good I am writing a rare Unilocal review. My husband and I stopped in for lunch and had ribs, tips, sausage and cornbread salad. I grew up in Texas with a smoker in the back yard. These are the first ribs I’ve had in Cinci that tasted like they were straight from the smoker. Nice smokey flavor with line, very moist, fell apart as you ate them. ‘Reds’ (sausage) had a kick but more mellow not like the hot mets where I can’t taste the meat for the ‘hot’. Big surprise was the cold cornbread salad — really really good! This place is going to become well known! Thanks and we will be back often! So glad I live nearby:) (Hope that next time brisket is on the menu!)

I had the half slab of spare ribs. I liked the dry rub that they used and was happy that they serve their homemade BBQ sauce on the side. The meat was perfectly smoked/​grilled and the pink smoke line was present. I prefer the «small end» of the slab and was delighted with what I received. Their BBQ sauce was very tasty and I think they may use fat drippings in the sauce which made it delicious.
For the sides I had the cornbread salad. This consists of cornbread, sweet corn, red & green peppers, red onions and some sort of sauce. Absolutely delicious. The potato salad was of the German variation and not your typical mustard potato salad. Its sweet with a good red onion crunch (although being a mustard fan I added some mustard;)
There are 3 or 4 booths inside for eat in, but I preferred to take it home.
Also I peaked into the kitchen and it was clean and had a lot of stainless steel updates. At some point I’m gonna want to take a peak at their pit and see what they’re working with.
Overall I was very pleased.

Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious and tender and flavorful and it was huge got my moneys worth! they were passing out samples of the new cornbread salad and it was awesome ended up ordering that instead of my usual potato salad this was the first time I have been there and I will definitely be back great place

Open at last and worth the wait! Pulled pork sandwich, moist, tender and full or great flavor. Best barbecue in area, can’t wait to try the ribs. Sure to become a local favorite!

I had the pulled pork sandwich and the smothered cabbage, both of which were delicious! The meat is tender and flavorful, and they really load up your sandwich with it. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Great Barbeque Place. I’ve tried the pulled pork and the smoked chicken. Terrific flavor and tenderness on both. Try the cabbage side too!
