I cannot recommend this store highly enough. You have a private shopping experience and Amanda is very knowledgeable about all of the gowns she has in the store. She makes dress shopping a pleasant, stress free, pressure free, and fun experience.

I don’t even know where to begin to describe how incredible Amanda and her store are.
So, I will start at the beginning: I am the worst bride ever. I have never been the little girl dreaming of her perfect picturesque wedding. I have never dreamt of my perfect white dress. As a matter of fact, I think getting marriage is a wonderful thing, but I’ve always thought you could be «married» without ever getting MARRIED.
Alas, Northern Jersey girl meets Eastern Kentucky boy and all bets are off and now I’m getting MARRIED. All I really care about is the food and wine, and oh yeah, I’d like to look nice too. But wedding dress shopping!!! All I have are images of SJP circa SATC breaking out into hives in the dressing room. No thank you.
But, as I’ve learned over this whole process, you can’t die on every hill and half the time it’s NOT about you. So fine, but after going to a few «bridal boutiques», I was ready to order dresses on line and try them on in the comfort of my own home. I was frustrated with jaded middle aged women telling me to «show off my figure» and act as though it was ridiculous that I wanted a dress 3 months. Didn’t I know that I should have bought my dress 9 months ago?!
Then in the dry desert of organza, tulle, and chiffon, appeared an oasis: Amanda’s Hyde Park Bridal. There was even a sign that said «Welcome Jennifer!» As we entered bridal heaven, an angel (Amanda) greeted us and offered us champagne. I could feel the tension in my neck dissipate and my teeth un-​clench.
The next two hours were a blur. I tried on beautiful dress after beautiful dress. We drank. We laughed. We swapped stories. We made fun of each other. We had selected a few dresses, Amanda had selected a few. She carefully dressed me in each, but never made me feel self conscious or awkward. She willingly switched belts, head pieces, veils, and acted as though it was no trouble to her at all. But ladies, let me tell you, this woman is SMART. So smart. She saved the best for last.
My friend had picked out a dress «for fun» but Amanda knew better. It was the last one she had me try on and it was THE ONE. I know, I know — reread my first two paragraphs. I am not that girl. I scoff at people who talk about «falling in love» with THE dress. But let me tell you, I looked in the mirror and it was love at first sight. And Amanda knew it all along.
Me, being me, I refused to believe it. So, we cycled through my top choices again. Amanda knew better, but she played along. And she was so sweet about it — never acting annoyed or stopping to remind me of the time. Not until I stepped into THE ONE again and waited for her to dress me, did she say that nothing would compare to this one. And I stepped out on the floor and she was right.
There are so many other positive attributes to Amanda and this store that I could go on and on. She gave me a discount when I showed concern about the price. She told me we would rush it but that even if we couldn’t, we’d make it work somehow. She worked tirelessly to make sure I saw the beautiful attributes in each and every dress. The interior decorating is lovely.
But what I am most appreciative for is her ability to show me how to be a bride. It’s easy to get dragged down by the weight of flowers and tablecloths and guest lists and crumble under the pressure of the perfect photo, the perfect vows, the perfect kiss, the perfect night. But underneath all of that is this beautiful thing called love and the celebration of that love: marriage. And like love, wedding planning isn’t always fun. But every once in a while, someone changes your perspective and shows you that it can be fun and exciting. And then you have no choice but to revel in it. Thank you, Amanda, for being that someone.

From the moment I walked up to the front door, I already knew Hyde Park Bridal would be different. There was an adorable sign out front to welcome me by name, and I opened the door to a gorgeous, feminine, pink, dreamy bridal salon. I wanted to pack up my things and move in! Amanda was waiting for me, and we had the whole salon to ourselves! She listened so intently to the elements of a gown that I described I loved, and we were able to browse through what she had hanging up. I was so excited to try on what she had selected, and fell head over heels in love with the very first gown she’d pulled for me. We continued to try on, and she was so helpful, weighing in on different elements with each gown. Amanda’s knowledge and expertise of bridal fashion is evident, and surpassed by no other consultant I had worked with. I visited multiple stores in the Reading Bridal District prior to visiting Amanda’s salon, and the experiences paled in comparison. Once I was in the gown, I couldn’t imagine having to take it off. We celebrated with a champagne toast, and we were able to take pictures and enjoy a once-​in-​a-​lifetime moment. I absolutely adored coming here, and there is no other place I would want to have found my gown. Hyde Park Bridal is far more than a beautiful salon with an outstanding selection of stunning designer gowns, it is built for the experience that every bride deserves, and Amanda goes out of her way to make this a reality. I would highly recommend Hyde Park Bridal to any girl, in or out of state, searching for their gown – there’s not a single salon that compares.

Such an amazing boutique! My sister went in a couple days ago to pick up her dress and any last minute adjustments and I fell in love with this place.
The décor in words is: pink, lace, diamonds!
They even had a sign with my sisters name on it outside to make her feel more special.
They serve champagne and tea cookies and have comfy pink chairs to sit it.
I will be back in March for MY fitting and I’m from Arizona! The gal is known as the «dress whisperer» so I’m excited to see what she picks out for me! Bravo!

Hyde Park Bridal is hands down the best bridal shop in Cincinnati! It’s owned by the sweetest girl named Amanda who designed and decorated the whole store (which is beautiful — think pink romance and chandeliers)! Right when you walk into this bridal boutique you feel like a special bride — there is a personalized sign welcoming you to the store (with your name on it), you and your friends/​mom/​whomever are immediately offered champagne and cupcakes and you get super personal treatment (aka: you’re the only bride there). Unlike a lot of the other bridal shops that feel more like bridal factories where there are girls and dresses everywhere, Hyde Park Bridal is beautifully curated to carry a diverse line of beautiful wedding and bridesmaid dresses so you don’t feel overwhelmed by tulle and lace galore!
My experience with Hyde Park Bridal and Amanda has really been amazing. I’ve been to a lot of high end bridal stores in NY and CA and HP Bridal’s service is so much better and the BOUTIQUE looks a lot nicer than most of the ones I’ve seen as well. I actually live in Switzerland now, so I went into the store with my bridesmaids when I was back in Cincinnati for a few days. Living abroad means having to mainly rely on email to get things done with Amanda. She is super fast with emails and she has gone above and beyond great service with every single request including shipping one of my bridesmaid dresses to China for me and paying the difference out of her own pocket! I was totally stunned by this gesture!
Trust me, as a picky, Martha Stewart meets Style Me Pretty, Vintage Chic themed bride who is getting married abroad, Amanda and her boutique are simply the best!
