Reasonable prices and if you like burgers, their bacon cheeseburger is pretty good and fries are crinkle cuts. If you’re a vegetarian, they do not do a vegetarian burger and your choices are side salad and grilled cheese, which are OK. We liked the choice of burger toppings and it’s fine for a quick meal and good tunes.

Very good lunch at Hwy 55 in Eastgate… It’s next to Jungle Jim’s, so it is easy to find… Classic 50’s place… Had the Andy’s Burger with pimento cheese… Fries were fantastic too!!! Topped it off with a root beer float too… I recommend giving it a try when in the area… At lunch, service was a bit slow, but the wait staff was very friendly…

Always enjoy a good hamburger here. The atmosphere is fun. a throwback to the fifties. makes you feel like you’re in Back to the Future. Their milkshakes are amazing.seriously. They are so good that the one time I was here and their machine was down. I almost left. I almost didn’t see the point in eating here without one. Not to say the food isn’t good. it is. And I can honestly say I’ve never had bad service.

I’ve eaten here 6 times. The staff is always friendly, the food has always been fresh and the store has always been clean. They have a unique menu that I enjoy picking random items from to order. Everything is very affordable and the atmosphere is really cool. I’m happy when I come here. Pretty cool!

The prices here are just fine. The music was fun, the waitress was really nice, and we all enjoyed our meals. She gave us free samples of the custard of the day flavor. It’s a fun theme I haven’t experienced for quite some time(Johnny Rockets are all closed, right?). They just need a new location or a spot with more traffic driving by. But its a good cheap meal before you buy crazy food at Jungle Jim’s. You don’t want to walk into Jungle Jim’s on an empty stomach!

This is what Johnny Rockets should have been. Too bad, bc someone else got the oldies context and made a really great restaurant! My husband and I just happened to come across Hwy 55 while shopping at Jungle Jim’s. The burger my husband got was so good, I don’t know if he even chewed! It’s really great how you can choose from a list of toppings to add to your burger without charge. The fries are super crunchy which we liked, but they’re basic fries. They’re the wedged-cut kind and they weren’t greasy at all! I got the shrimp Po’Boy. It was delicious and the bun they use is soft and chewy, BUT the shrimp had an odd taste to them that no amount of sauce or toppings could mask. Not even jalepenos! The best way I can describe the shrimp taste is that it’s like the taste you get from stale and lukewarm tap water… It didn’t stop me from enjoying my meal overall, but I wouldn’t get it again solely for the reason of the off flavor of the shrimp. DON’T MISSOUTONTHEIRCUSTARD! They offer you free samples, so if you’re not sure you want their desserts, be sure to take a taste of their frikken bomb frozen custard! I couldn’t leave without a cone! Lastly, they make donations to the community so this is a business that gives back and we really appreciated that! Everyone is super friendly and nice and the whole restaurant is extremely clean which my husband noticed off the bat and kept commenting on with pleasure. We had an overall great experience and plan to visit again in the future!

Service was quick because there was almost no one there on a Saturday night. No one working appeared to be over 18. One look at the regular burger and it was the size of a slider on a regular bun. Asked the waitress if it was normal to have half a burger. She said corporate decided to not flatten the meat so it appeared to be plumper. I asked her why use regular buns. She replied that was what she thought. So that half burger and fries was not worth $ 10. Doubt that place will survive long.

Great food. Very fresh meat. Best burger I’ve had in a while. Even the bun was fresh and tasty. Very attentive and polite servers. Loved that the kids meals come in a car. Very cute! Can’t wait to come back.

Went for lunch with a work colleague after arriving in Cincinnati for the first time. We needed a quick place near the office that wasn’t fast food. Old school diner style décor and a 50/60s kitschy theme. Seated quickly but then they seated another party with loud kids right next to us and yet there were plenty of open seats. Services was fairly quick. I had the pimento cheese burger which was pretty good and loaded with bacon. The bun was cold and I ran out of burger before bacon!!!(Actually nothing wrong with that lol) so I am giving it a solid three. Better than fast food, but they need to work out the topping to burger ratio and think about giving a side at lunch vs making it extra(2.99 for fries on top of $ 4.50 or so for the burger). A lunch special with burger, side and drink would be a huge menu improvement!

Great burger and service. Love the music too. I would come back. It was my first time here. There was even a burger challenge there when I was dining. Fun! !!

I’m sharing my personal experience because I appreciate reviews, good or bad. I ordered chicken tenders, onion rings and a coffee. The onion rings were«blah», the tenders were very greasy and flavorless. The coffee had grounds on it… it was made in a Keurig machine. Overall the food was edible but I wouldn’t go back there to eat. Both the servers and cooks are high school kids, and you can tell they are very unexperienced. I was not impressed with this place and I wouldn’t recommend it.

This place is terrible… I stopped in to get a carryout. The food was finished by the time I ordered and went to the bathroom. Too fast… and the burger was well-done. I opened the burger when I got to the car and it was sooo hot that I could not pick it up. I asked for lettuce and mayo but it was plain. I suspect that it was already cooked and sitting in a warming drawer. The only cheese options were swiss, provolone, pepper-jack and American(which is not cheese). The guy who took my order was more than nice… the food, however, was horrible.

Johnny Rockets immitation. Close to Jungle Jims. Fun place to eat at. This is a 50s diner with the usual music and memorelia. Burgers, fries, onion rings, and shakes. Coupons in reach magazine.

Very nice restaurant. Our first visit and the staff are great. Very friendly and attentive. We expected higher costs. I had the special burger, fries, and drink for 6.99. Fresh made burger and hot, fresh fries. They have videos of 50s music shows and commercials playing in large screen at one end. There’s a mock up rear of a car booth. Sadly it was occupied when we came in. Everything tasted great and the staff was taking care of cleaning between customers. They offer frozen custard instead of ice cream in cones, shakes, sundaes, and a version like a blizzard called concretes. We’ll be back with the kids next trip.

I don’t get over on the east side of town much, but my husband and I were and were looking for something different to eat. So we decided to stop. It was our first time here and I’m glad we stopped. The pieces weren’t as bad a we thought they’d be, and the food was good. It wasn’t too busy being the middle of the day but the staff wasn’t slacking off. They were constantly moving and keeping tables cleaned. Everyone was friendly. We were heated as we came in and several different employees stopped by our table to make sure we were doing ok. Our saw us looking over the bill and stopped to make sure it was correct. She looked at it with us and said she could rearrange it a bit to make it just a little cheaper. Wow! We hadn’t said anything about the cost. I’m my opinion that went above and beyond normal service. We will definitely be back… Next time with the kids.

First visit was when they first opened…(Technically was its«soft» open). Wasn’t a great experience! We understood it was their opening weekend and took it for what it was. Now we come back x/months later and nothing has changed. Service is terrible and food is average. $ 8.30 for a double cheeseburger??? Pathetic chicken fingers for kids??? We will never come back… sad to say. Disappointed all 6 of us.

Old school 50s dinner is cool. Great place to eat and grab a drink before you go to Jungle Jims. The food was good as well as the service. The theming was well done. For the price it is a good choice.

This place opened up in the Jungle Jim’s plaza right around the corner from us so we HAD to go check it out. Went with some our family and had a great time! It’s in the style of a 50’s diner, the décor and even the name tags on the employees are a true throwback to that. They play the«oldies» as the restaurant music, which is pretty nice. The food is good, as well as the frozen custard, I believe they have a different specialty flavor they make up each day. It’s very nicely priced, with specials listed in the menu [at least there was when we went.] I would highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and want a nice themed, great priced dinner. :)
