This place is awesome! They have hemp everything a little pipe shop and other cool stuff! The hemp tea is delicious !

Can I rate something zero stars. Rude.

What you’d expect: peace, love, happiness, patchouli, hacky sacks, beaded hemp necklaces, t-​shirts with pot leaves, etc.
They have some unique stuff but I definitely felt like a bit of a fish out of water in my normal clothing as the staff and their friends eyed me over without saying hello.
It’s a bit more grown up than your typical college type «hemp» store.
I left with mixed feelings. Although I would say if you’re walking around the area, it’s worth a stop in.

Hemptations is one of my favorite smoke shops, specifically for the great selection of pieces they have in the back. While many smoke shops just have your standard, bland, boring-​as-​hell pieces, Hemptations has a vast amount of quality pieces that go beyond «tobacco use» and can be considered beautiful pieces of art. While they do offer the basic stuff for a deal, get ready to drop a stack on the good stuff – money well spent.

I made my first visit to «Hemptations» this past Four-​Twenty. I was hoping to find a few gems for my «A Little TOO Happy Hour». Where else are you going to go on «Stoner Christmas»?
The thought was that this place would be a lot more «Grateful Dead/​Phish Hippy-​Dippy», but I quickly learned that hemp is a little more «Touch of Grey». That is to say: «boOoOoring».
Hemp paper, hemp shirts, hemp necklaces are all totally there, but none have committed to any sort of discernible style. And they’re all a little pricey. Compared to cotton, I’m somewhat sure that hemp is no more ecological, but I am absolutely certain that it is no more economical.
I did come across some incense that was usable for my purposes, but clothing, stickers, and decorations: let’s just say you’d be better off at Spencer’s or a Walmart, as they were completely devoid of Grateful Dead Bears, tie-​dye, Jimi Hendrix posters, and Rastafarian Lions.
«Signs, signs, everywhere a sign»:
Upstairs and in the back is the super secret special «paraphernalia» room, er, I mean, «the pipes». There is an extra veil of security to this space. A bead curtain entry. Signage about how an employee must accompany you. More signs about using the proper terminology. Signs about asking the employees if you don’t know the proper terminology. I think somewhere behind all the signs they were actually selling bongs and hookahs, er, water pipes? All that and «no long haired freaky people» whatsoever. Kind of the opposite of what you’d expect from a place like called «Hemptations».

Hemptations is a pretty sweet little store. My friend went in to buy some hookah tobacco. It was an okay price, but wasn’t that great of a product.
The store is neat though and is defiantly worth checking out. If it involves a means of smoking something, be it an instrument or tobacco product, you can find it there.

Sure this place sells hemp-​made products like clothing, lotions, candles, and stationary, as well as hemp related books and stickers, but let’s be honest: Hemptations makes its money from their «tobacco» smoking accessories in the back.
You can find every kind of contraption to smoke «tobacco» with: pipes (glass, metal, and wood), bongs, one-​hitters, side-​cars, papers, vaporizers, and gas masks?! Prices range from a modest $ 10 up to triple digits.
Because this is a head shop, you’ll invariably leave smelling of the incense that was burning throughout the store. That could be a good or bad thing depending on your personal hygiene habits.

Hemptations is a cute little smoker’s haven and hemp lover’s store located in the posh O’Bryonville shopping district. They carry the usuals that you would find in a smoke store plus some other extras.
The front of the store is filled with all hemp products. There are hemp clothing, hats, notebooks with hemp paper, socks, shoes, and lots of little knick knacks. Then in the back you will find the glass pipe collection. Their collection of these items is pretty small but they did have some nice glass hookahs that looked pretty.
I bought a hemp catnip cat toy here the other day (of which they have plenty) to bring home to the kitties. I hadn’t even remembered it was in my purse until I caught the little one sneaking it out of my purse. A few minutes later she had ripped the stitching off and had licked the thing clean. So the stitching isn’t strongly made, but I can guarantee you’re cats will go crazy. They also sell full bags of catnip for the real addicts you may have at home. :)
