Purchased new washer and dryer set here about a year ago and when I purchased the staff was very helpful, not pushy at all and have not had any problems out of my whirlpool set. Will buy here again.

Went to the Fields Ertle store and purchased a laptop, they had great customer service and were very knowledgeable. I would give them a 4⁄5 rating. However, the Eastgate store has caused me to never step foot in another HH Gregg again. I have worked retail for 10+ years and was absolutely stunned by how terrible this store was. In fact, I have never felt the need to write a review on a customer service experience. I purchased a laptop 3 days prior, long story short it had a hiccup in an update(a 5+ hour hiccup). It was rather frustrating but I know these kind of things happen. I contacted Microsoft and they attempted a few things to fix it, but it never came through. They suggested I contact the manufacturer or go to the store. We decided to take the 20 mile drive to the store. We get there and from the start the young lady working was nice. But what got me was she looked at the computer less than 5 minutes then suggested we go to Best Buy and have them look at it. So we headed to Best Buy(their competitor) and they let us know they could fix it but it would cost us. Sorry, but I refuse to pay to have a 3 day old laptop repaired. We headed back to HH Gregg and they ended up calling a guy over he wouldn’t let me get a word in. He suggested everything Microsoft suggested(if he would have let me talk, he would have known this) then proceeds to tell me it was our Internet. He said it could take up to 10 hours. A brand new computer should work, regardless. He then told me that he could get it working by tomorrow for $ 40. Um once again, not paying for a brand new computer. I finally told them I would like to return it, and that’s when they got really crappy with me, the gentlemen was making snide remarks quietly and he and another associate walked away and were staring at us whispering. I felt like a piece of crap. It seemed like they didnt care about keeping their customer happy. Then on the return slip(obviously knowing that we would see it) the young lady felt the need to write«Couldn’t wait for update». I think 5+ hours is a long enough wait. Absolutely ridiculous. My 5-year-old niece could convey better customer service than these associates.

My husband and I were looking for a new washer and dryer, and hh gregg had the best deal! The salesperson was knowledgable and not too pushy. Delivery went smoothly. It wasn’t installed that well, and the foot fell off on the first wash for the washer. They sent another person to come by the next day. I appreciate how they pay attention to customer service, and we would shop here again.
