I’m new to the area and was discouraged at these reviews. But I needed to see a doc, so I made appointments. In the last 4 months, I’ve seen pediatrics, urologists, ENTs, and familly medicine docs between the 6 people in my family. Every time we wait no longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room and less than 5 in the exam room! Every time, the doctor sits down to talk with us and doesn’t appear in a rush. Every time the nurses, receptionists and staff are considerate and friendly. The pediatrician remembers us right away — she’s seen us 3 times in 4 months. And she doesn’t give me grief for my choices(like declining the flu shot). And the docs don’t insist on you coming back in for silly followup exams just to make $$. My old doc wanted to see me after bloodwork, to go over my new dosage of meds and my kids’ old ENT wanted to see them every 3 months just for the fun of it apparently. The docs here respect your time, trust your gut, and are easy to reach if you need them. The staff returns calls quickly and the mychart internet system is helpful for communication with the doctors! So why am I’m giving Group Health just 4 stars? For 2 reasons: 1 — why can’t their computer system link family members?! Every time another person sees a doc, I have to give 10 minutes of information over the phone or in person. The same stinkin’ information for every person. Its 2015 — get a computer system that can link people together! 2 — If you have a lot of health issues, I’m not so sure I’d go here… we have a few minor things and the PPC docs don’t seem to be 100% thorough. More like 95%. That’s enough for us since we don’t have major health issues. I’ll start seeing a specialist for the areas that the PPC doc seems to be slacking.

I can’t believe how rude an employee can be to you from this place. When you are down and out and sicker than you have ever been, to have a rude and nasty woman call you on the phone and use a tone of condescension and treat you like a non person… a number… worse than a dog… that takes you from sick to fragile. Luckily death did not occur, but for all those lucky enough to not be currently part of this practice… Stay safe… Stay clear.

Just to add to the above comments… I switched here from Good Sam Breast Center and my films never showed up at any of my Dr ofcs’. No follow through. Going back to Good Sam even though it is further away for me.

This place is nicer than some of the other GHA locations(like, lets say, Clifton). But after anxiously waiting for my second visit and calling twice about it, I arrived and was told I was booked for a week later, and that they were just ‘sorry’ about the mix-up. Anxiously waiting days for procedures is bad enough… but then being told you have to wait another week on top of that is horrible. I won’t even get in to all the times they have messed up my insurance information… Thanks for solidifying this is my last appointment at GHA… I will find somewhere else next time.
