Does anyone know what happened to this place? Just moved back to cincy not long ago and went to get some more dishes of the mismatched variety. I found the place closed with a big fence around it. Needless to say, I was super bummed.

Umm so is this place closing because when I went there was absolutely nothing and I mean nothing. One room had very few old school glass wear and that was it. Very disappointed

This place is kind of awesome. They sell mostly glass items, as well as outdoor planters. But then you will find some weird odds and ends too. Over the years I have purchased a set of concrete urn planters, a hard plastic pond liner, replacement glass shades for my ceiling fan. Another time I was in there and found quilt batting! It’s so random, but it’s a lot of fun. I recommend if you are in the area just stopping in frequently to see what they have.

Glass Barn is the first place to stop when you really don’t know where to find that widget you’re looking for. They always seem to have at least 1 of whatever it is you want! Also be sure to check them out for annuals for your flower gardens! Great bargains but be sure to pick up whatever it is you have your eye on plant-wise because it’s likely to disappear before next weekend!

You can find anything and everything at this no-frills discount home goods store! I’m a big fan of Glass Barn; great for getting necessities and just for browsing. The name delivers what is promised: you’re shopping in a barn with concrete floors. Wooden tables are arranged in long narrow aisles, and the stock is overflowing. Glass Barn is divided into three buildings, all connected indoors: 1) kitchenware 2) yard, holiday, and random stuff 3) hardware section Kitchenware: This section has many, many sets of plates, cups, and glasses, all which can be purchased individually. I’ve seen prices around 25 cents with many things in the $ 1 – 10 range. Most of the inventory may be from out-of-business restaurants, but everything is in great condition. They also sell baking sheets, pots and pans, candles and vintage items like mason jars and old Coca-cola glasses. Yard, Holiday & Random Stuff: This building has a little bit of everything, great for finding gifts for the relatives or acquaintances. For the yard, there are garden gnomes, planters, yard flags, thermometers, John Deere nostalgia, cute figurines on sticks to hide in the flowerbeds… all sorts of stuff. There always seems to be a year-round supply of Christmas décor, although they do rotate some things for the appropriate season. There’s an entire aisle of silk flowers as well as an aisle of wrapping paper and school supplies. I think I even saw a jousting helmet here once! And yes, all of it is dirt cheap, a couple of bucks at best. Hardware: Small town hardware store feel with the discount prices. I’ve seen auto care items, tools, placards for bathroom designations… again, it’s a bit of everything! The Glass Barn is a great place to spend an afternoon browsing the aisles. Whether you need to replace a glass from your set or just need a pick-me-up purchase you’ll be sure to snag a deal here!
