Craft Connection Brewery Tours

We took a 3 brewery private tour for my dad’s birthday and we had an awesome time! Our tour guide/​driver was very fun and knowledgable. The 3 tours we did were very different and each very interesting. We learned a ton about beer and the history of each building. I would recommend Craft Connection to anyone who likes beer, likes Cincy and it’s history and the old buildings, or anyone who just wants to have a good time family/​friends.

We recently went on the Craft Connection tour for a work team building activity. We had a fantastic time and the guides (Llz and Ben) were great! It was nice to hear the history behind craft brewing and local breweries. Ben was full of knowledge! My only suggestion would have been to see more around each brewery. However, I think the group overall had a blast!

My wife gave this to me as a birthday present, Liz did a great job, the tour was a ton of fun and informative. The beers we sampled were a great sampling of Cincinnati’s brewing history and future.

Ben was amazing helping organize a bachelor party and making sure it went off without any issues. Very knowledgeable with the breweries and the flow of the tour. We had an absolute blast.

I booked a 3 hour private tour on Saturday evening for my husband’s 30^th birthday party with 10 friends; we all had a great time on the tour, and felt that it was money well-​spent! We were picked up at HalfCut where we were able to purchase discounted growlers to bring on the bus, and continued our tour to Braxton, Ei8htball, and Rhinegeist. Greg was our tour guide and he was knowledgeable, very laid back, and basically became part of our group of friends as the tour progressed. We could not have asked for a better time, and I highly suggest checking out a tour with Craft Connection.

We took a tour this past Saturday with Dan for a Bachlorette party and it was more than we ever anticipated! First off, Dan made our experience so much fun on and off the bus! On the bus, we were able to jam out to our favorite toons and he even supplied some dance moves. Then at each stop, he greeted us with a few different pitchers of delicious craft beer. Coming from someone who doesn’t typically like craft beer, I couldn’t believe how much I love all the different options and found myself struggling to drink «water beer» later that night. We were able to take a few special tours of the breweries and learn how the process is done but it didn’t interfere with our main focus – drinking! We saw some other tours while we were out and I have to say, we seemed to be having way more fun than the rest! If you are debating between this one and another, definitely choose this tour, you won’t regret it!

My husband and I had a BLAST on a craft connection tour on Saturday afternoon! Our driver was nice, knowledgable and accommodating throughout the tour. As you board the bus, you are equipped with a tasting cup which is constantly filled with a variety of local beers for you to try. If you’re looking for something fun and different to do in the Cincy/​NKY area, I highly recommend trying a craft connection tour!

My wife arranged a Saturday night at four breweries for our group of friends to celebrate my birthday — The experience couldn’t have been any better.
Starting off we were able to arrange door to door service from our home in Mason and were able to accommodate 14 people, removing the need to get downtown individually. The bus and our guide, Dan, were both great. The ride was comfortable with easy access to food, drinks, and music through the whole 4 – 5 hour night! We will be back to check out a few more breweries on the list for sure.
In the end the experience was not only a great way to spend time with a large group of friends, but also a great way to get backstage access to the best breweries that the city has to offer. Also, don’t forget that there is no waiting in overcrowded lines when you are with Craft Connections, your guide heads right to the front every time — making great use of time at every stop!

Great great time! We booked a tour for twelve. So fun! They have a cooler onboard for your growlers. Can learn A LOT if you pay attention :)

Beer. Bus. Guided Tour. Extreme Fun. Whaaaaat!?! We did this tour on a Thursday evening and we visited three local breweries — Moerlein Tap Room, Listerman and Rhinegeist. Seriously, this was the best local tour I have ever been on. I highly suggest you check out Ben and the guys at Craft Connection they are amazing!
I went with my boyfriend and his two brothers, we met down at Half Cut then boarded the bus for the tour. I learned so much, not only from Ben, but from all staff and brew masters at each of our stops. We tasted so many different beers along the way — and in case you are wondering… there is plenty of beer, and by plenty, I mean they pour from pitchers. I suggest a DD — which was me — I only got to sip along the way, so I want to do this again, when I can fully participate in the experience.
You have to check out Craft Connection, serious fun combined with learning about beer, who can ask for more :-)

Eric and Dan were great Beer Guides!!! We rented out the bus for a private party — they did door to door service (picking us up at home!), and made the evening super great!!! We picked our breweries, and they did the rest. Serving up the beers we wanted to try and some we didn’t know about. We would recommend this company to everyone!!! Super fun night!!!

Did a Craft Connection Brew tour and was one of the best experiences I have had with my family! Great communication with the owner in order to set up a private tour with the specific breweries that we wanted.
Ben allowed us to bring our own snacks on our bus which helped keep us full for the 4 hour tour! Ben was the driver and tour guide and had great knowledge about each brewery that we went to.
Was a little bit pricey because we were a private tour, but was well worth it because of how much fun we had! We were able to talk and stay in our group and the beer was brought to us which was the best part, no waiting in long lines!
With a group of 8 we were able to do our own thing with out it being too structured. Would definitely recommend this brew tour to anyone and will be doing it again myself in the future!

Did a Craft Connection tour on Sunday 6÷28÷2015 and it was one of the best tours and things to do in Cincinnati. We booked a private tour and hit up 4 breweries of 4.5 hours with Dave as our tour guide and driver. Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. We all had such a good time. The other tour company looked to be a bit more structured with flights and explanations while the Craft Connection ordered pitchers of each breweries best beers and made it more of a party, which is exactly what we wanted. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

BEST $ 50 I’VE EVER SPENT! I booked this tour to celebrate my graduation from University of Cincinnati. My parents and I had limited time in town and wanted to see as much of the craft beer scene as possible– this tour did not disappoint! We had a great time exploring (and sampling!) 3 unique breweries while letting loose and laughing with the other patrons. Our driver/​tour guide extraordinaire, Dave, was super knowledgable about all of the stops and selected the perfect soundtrack for our adventure. Our group never stopped singing, sharing stories, and having fun! We haven’t stopped reminiscing about this experience. Thanks, Craft Connection! WELL DONE!

Did this tour as a gift to my father-​in-​law for his birthday! What a great present for someone who has everything except great knowledge of Breweries in Cincinnati area.
Ben was our tour guide and the owner of Craft Connection Brew Tours. University of Dayton graduate who started a great business which I hope he will have continued success in!
My Dad LOVED the tour! We visited 4 local brewers and it was nice that we didn’t have to drive considering we were drinking and sampling for 4 hours straight. It’s not like its a drunk fest.
You go to learn about craft beer and how its made and the different types of beer and what makes it different. Only bad part was, not much food is available for purchase along the way. Ben provided snacks for his 16 passengers (normally suppose to be 14). Some places did provide chips but I suggest going on a very full stomach.
Overall this birthday present was a huge success so thanks to Craft Connection! My hat’s off to you!

I have been on the Craft Connection brew tour TWICE, and it was a BLAST both times!!! The bus is clean and comfortable. The tour was informative, and well organized. The tour guide (Ben) was knowledgeable, and a safe driver. The beer was tasty, and only $ 55 for 4 hours of beer drinking without driving!!! I cannot wait to go again and again!!!
