Stopped in on a Sunday midmorning to get something to soak up the poison from the previous night out. Purchased the spinach and cheddar bagel with turkey on a sesame bagel. The service was good and made quickly. I also got a large Hazelnut coffee which, with a little milk, was delicious. The bagel was actually quite tasty and sumptuous but the downfall of it was that it wasn’t cooked all the way through and the omelette part was lukewarm at best near the middle. Since they initially heat the omelette by itself, I would recommend asking that they heat it a little longer to get all of it warm. Other than that, not too shabby. Bonus points for being able to park right out from because it was a Sunday.

We’re in town this weekend for the Bengals game and stopped here for breakfast. Seating was a lil crowded, but the food was good. I had the Chimi Cheddar on a wheat bagel(they were out of plain bagels at the time). Hand cracked eggs with crisp bacon, green peppers, cheddar and a Chimi sauce… toasted! Good stuff.

Summary: If I ever went back here, I would not get anything here except a plain bagel and fountain water. I stopped in here before work one day and thought I would try out a sausage bagel and get a dark roast coffee. Quick line and friendly service especially considering how the staff handled the nasty woman who ordered just before me. HOWEVER, this place WASTERRIBLE. By far the worst breakfast sandwich AND coffee I ever had. The sausage was kind of green, salty, and watery. The bagel was soggy. The egg — OMG the freaking egg — it tasted rancid and was barely edible. In fact, I got diarrhea after eating it and I only ate half of the egg as I was afraid to eat it(correlation/causation/coincidence?. .. you tell me). The coffee — if you like dark roast coffee or just average flavored coffee go somewhere else. It was sooooo watered down. You’d be better off making instant coffee. Seriously worst coffee I ever had. For $ 8 for a sandwich, coffee, and small tip you would be better off at ohhh I hate to say it – McDonalds. Yes indeed. And it would actually probably be healthier(I looked up and compared what I ate to compatible McDonalds items). I’m in town from Chicago for a two week long conference. We had a catered lunch scheduled today, but the person who took the order last week wrote down the date for tomorrow instead. After realizing their mistake, they rushed to make our order. Then they delivered it, along with another order to another company. When they realized they dropped our order off to the wrong place, they rushed back, but of course that company had already enjoyed themselves to our sandwiches. So they had to REmake our order. TWOHOURS after the scheduled delivery time, the food shows up. Despite the room full of hungry people, many people are still hungry due to the lack of quality these sandwiches had. All were made uniformly(tomato, mayo, mustard), so there was no consideration for people with tomato or egg allergies so a couple of people didn’t have a choice but to go hungry. Of those without allergies, everyone agreed the sandwiches were lacking in flavor and quality. Overall, our company has vowed to never use them again, and as individuals, nobody here is interested in ever going back. UPDATE: the manager of the store apologized and promised to make it up to our company by giving us free breakfast sandwhiches and coffee the next morning. To nobody’s surprise, it never showed up. WHOOPERATES A BUSINESSLIKETHIS?!

I absolutely love Bruegger’s and was thrilled to live near one again — but I’ve struck out twice at this location. The service is slow. The last woman who helped me didn’t know if they carried sprouts, didn’t know what hummus was and didn’t recognize dijon mustard. My bagel sandwich wasn’t cut all the way through. The soup was luke warm, bordering on cool. The«hot» sign had been displayed, but the bagel wasn’t even warm. On the up side: The bagel was fresh. The taste of the food is pretty decent, and the price isn’t bad. As much as I love Bruegger’s, I’ll have to debate whether I give this location a third try.

Oh the way to the office, my boss and I wanted to grab some breakfast before starting the day. I had some hotel credit that apparently could be used at Brueggers, so I dropped in for a bagel. I ordered their breakfast bagel with sausage and egg on a pesto and cheese bagel. The sausage was pale and salty, which didn’t really bode well with my belly. The bagel itself was nice and fresh, especially since they were going through TONS of bagels as dozens of people queued up to get a freebie. Overall, it wasn’t a terribly high quality meal but it mostly served it’s purpose. I might have to go with the lox next time instead. Service was fast and friendly, and they accepted my hotel coupon with no problems. It’s really close to my hotel and my office so I can see myself going back when I’m in the area. However, I just wasn’t very impressed with their breakfast bagel. However, I’ll give it another try the next time I’m in town. Food: 5⁄10 Service: 7⁄10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 6⁄10

I was thrilled when I moved to Cincinnati and saw that the Vermont-based bagel shop had made it here before me! As a Sunday-morning tradition in my family, Brueggers set the standard for what a bagel should be. No other baker can compete with Brueggers’ smooth crusty outside and fluffy savory inside. It’s even more of a thrill if you and fate collide when they bring fresh hot bagels to the front of the store. This particular shop downtown deserves accolades for swift and friendly customer service. I usually expect to wait in line at Brueggers, but even during a weekday lunch, this store was well staffed and efficiently handled the crowd. Here, the servers are friendly rather than frantic. Further, there is plenty of clean seating and decent people-watching. Great for eating in or take-out. Definitely try the rosemary and olive oil!

This place is right down the street from Megabus, so a perfect place to stop and wait out the chilly Cincinnati air before going on to New York. I’m not a bagel fan, so I can’t attest to those… however, the Broccoli Cheese soup is very very good. The coffee is also pretty good. Hits the spot after coming in from the cold. The place seems clean, and the staff is nice. Bathrooms are kind of small, meaning only one stall, but there weren’t a million people trying to get in, so it’s fine.

Conveniently located right by my friends downtown apartment! Great bagels and even better egg and cheese bagel sandwiches! Have a location in Cleveland and have never tried it! Can’t wait to go now! :-) recommend the egg and cheese on asiago!

This place is cute and quick, perfect for an in-and-out-on-the-way-to-work-breakfast. We got an onion bagel with cream cheese and a drink, friendly service and the bagel was just fine. Nothing too special, it WAS just a bagel, but this place offers a little peace in the middle of a big city. The location is convenient, and the place was clean for a busy Sunday morning on gameday.

I have tried this place twice now. The first time I thought maybe it was a fluke, but I’m not going back again. Both times I’ve ordered a blueberry bagel with light cream cheese. The first time I ended up with some onion flavored cream cheese(not a good combination). The second time the service seemed totally indifferent to whether or not there was a customer across the counter or not. They didn’t offer to toast the bagel, which to me is a definite requirement for a bagel store. The bagels were in no way standouts in the vast world of bagels, and the prices are also a bit ridiculous. You’d be far better off buying their«last night’s bagels» and toasting them yourself. Better yet, just stop at a Kroger before heading downtown.

When the employees actually make an effort to talk to you, I think that counts for a lot. Kudos to the staff at Brueggers for not being robots! My bagel and cream cheese were prepared quickly and I took a seat at one of the outside tables(plenty of inside seating too). I had been walking around downtown all afternoon and was heading from The Banks back to my car at Duke Energy Center. This place was the perfect halfway location to rest my legs and grab an inexpensive snack. One tip: if you’re not picky about your drink, just get an ice water instead of one from the refrigerated case. Vitamin Water was $ 2.39, regular bottled water $ 1.89, and Naked Juice was almost $ 3.

Ah, downtown Brueggers. The perfect hangover food(especially, say, when you’re posting on your birthday which happens to fall right after a major drinking holiday.) Not a lot to say besides it being a normal Brueggers, a perfect spot for good to mediocre bagel sandwiches. However, this one is easy to get to from anywhere downtown(being on 4th and Vine) and the lines move WAY quick. Like, impressively in and out. That may make someone a little nervous about the quality of bagel sandwiches they are able to put together this quickly, but that person ain’t me. I’ll take it quick and not worry about what’s in it. Staff is friendly too, which is always nice when it’s morning … and you drank a ton of champagne the night before. Ow, my head.

Good choice for a quick breakfast downtown… bagels were great! I would recommend the salmon bagel. comes with smoked salmon, capers, cream cheese, and red onions. I think it’s delicious on any bagel, but it was really good on the rosemary and olive oil bagel.

Brueggers is a solid downtown choice for breakfast or lunch. They consistently do a good job with bagels, coffee, sandwiches, soups, salads. They have monthly bagel and/or coffee pairings, new flavors of bagels and/or cream cheese, and other specials that make it a fun and interesting place to go. The atmosphere is cozy and relatively spacious for a downtown spot. It’s a great place to meet a friend, coworker, client, or to enjoy a fresh bagel yourself. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly. It’s not as fast as some other breakfast or lunch places, but everything is made to order. To me, that’s worth an extra few minutes. As far as chain go, Brueggers is reliable, fresh, friendly, and high quality. I’ll keep going back for sure.

I finally ate here for lunch because I had a gift card sitting in my wallet for over a year. I’ve only been to this location once before in the last 3 years or so and both experiences were sub par. I had a Roast Beef and Veggie Panini that was flimsy, soggy and the beef was Steak Ums-esque. It also took a long time as customer after customer filed past me with their orders. Ended up being $ 8.79 for a small rubbery panini, a bag of chips and a med. drink. I’ll give it two stars because the staff was nice and attentive, albeit slow.

I was very dissappointed in service and my food was cold, I had a cold egg and cold ham on bread that they didn’t ask if I wanted it toasted. Spilled my large coffee because it was so hot and full to the rim that the cup became flimsy. The young guy that came and mopped up was careless and took mop and cleaned 1 chair off with it after mopping floor while other chairs remain wet, I asked him for more coffee and he ignore me, so I went up front order another coffee it cost me $ 1.89 more. I left a note for the manger as I walk off they were laughing, so go at your on risk hope your visit go’s better then mind, when you travel a lot u appreicate good buisness even from a small chain.

I would have given Bruegger’s Bagels a 4 star rating except they were out of coffee. This didn’t affect me personally as I grabbed a latte from Starbucks across the street before I popped in for some baked goods. It did, however, hold up the line quite a bit. It was around lunch time so it was pretty backed up. The customer was a massive bitch and the girl at the register handled herself very well. I was impressed because I probably would have thrown hot coffee in her face… well hot tea water since the coffee was dry. After scrambling around in the back, they were able to recover some coffee and get it brewing and the line started moving along nicely again. The dudes that cut and schmear the bagels are great. They take special requests and pay attention as not to disappoint. I always get the Asiago bagel… toasted with light cream cheese… light on the cream cheese. The bagels don’t require toasting as they are super fresh!

I love the everything cookie and the bagel sandwiches are good too — plus Brueggers has my favorite cream cheese(bacon scallion)!
