I have been working with Matt and Jason at Beat Personal Training for a little over a year now and have been exceptionally pleased with the quality of their instruction and training. I’m a former athlete who«let myself go» a bit and over the last year, with Matt and Jason’s assistance, have started to get back some of the«old me», physically. I’ve dropped more than 10% in bodyfat in the last year and have gotten a lot stronger and more physically fit. This is especially true when I measure my heart rate during cardio activities — things that would previously wear me out no longer do so. Beat has everything you need to get in shape and the atmosphere is casual and fun. The people there are friendly and fun. I get a better workout in 60 minutes with Matt and Jason than I used to get in 90+ minutes on my own. They are also excellent about working with you to accomplish your own, specific fitness goals. .. they’re not going to try to press you into a mold to be a power lifter or a body builder or fitness competitor. The split at Beat is pretty even between young, mature, male, female, «just getting back into it» and«really cranking it up», so there’s a good chance you will find someone there that you can relate to. If you’re stuck on the fence(like I was prior to starting with Beat) go to a Saturday morning boot camp(9 a.m.) to get a feel for the place. Highly recommend.
