Alterations K&L

I have taken several items in for minor repairs or alterations. The staff is friendly and they do a great job. Today I brought in a pair of suit pants with a split in them. The young lady took the pants and fixed them on the spot while I waited. It took less than five minutes. When I was a dollar short on payment she told me not to worry and to bring it in next time. What a fantastic neighborhood business! My office is just across the street and I’m very glad I am so close to such a well-​run alteration shop.

I called K&L Alterations for a custom alteration as a present for my fiancé. I spoke directly with the owner and she stated that it was no problem for them to alter my fiancé’s deceased fathers clothing into a custom fitted shirt for her. I drove 30 minutes with the materials and upon arrival, the owner told me they couldn’t perform the alteration. Her first comment was that it «wasn’t worth their time.» I told the owner that I wasn’t worried about the cost, that it was a sentimental gift. The owner continued on with a very snippy attitude and stated that they «didn’t have time for this kind of work.» I took my materials and left, she didn’t apologize or even offer any help.
I am a small business owner myself and if there is one thing I have learned it is that customer satisfaction is key for long term stability and local referral. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH OR REFER ANYONE TO THIS K&L ALTERATIONS SHOP, THEY ARE RUDE, IMPERSONAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

They rescued my favorite jeans from the trash pile after an unfortunate bicycle accident. You can’t tell there was ever any damage to them.

I’ve taken everything from dress pants to short sleeve shirts to K&L, and they’ve done a FANTASTIC job with all of it. The prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly and helpful, they get the stuff done in a very timely manner, and — best of all — they do it well.
Of course, they live up to their self-​imposed standard of quality — I brought one item back, after taking it home, to have them do a little re-​alteration, and they did it with no questions asked or additional charges. It was great.
I’m glad I work in Blue Ash so that I’m close enough to K&L to take all of my alterations to them!
