Stopped in on a sweltering Saturday afternoon, nice and cool inside, but not dark. Big barroom. Crowd ranged from 20s to 70s, and pretty loud but they had to be loud to be heard over the music which was crankin’ — and a more eclectic mix I haven’t heard in a while. Dr. Hook, country, heavy metal, glam rock. Keno, one pool table, some video games, logo T shirts for sale, a popcorn machine, handy ATM, friendly chatty regulars and a selection of Rolling Stone magazines to browse if you don’t feel like chatting. Barmaid was attentive and we felt welcome even though everybody did NOT know our names. Nice little back yard with tables and speakers for the music. Friendly neighborhood watering hole.
