This place is like a damn theme park for people who like shooting. They have a restaurant, a bow shop, a handgun shop, a machine gun shop, and lots of guns to rent. The hourly rate is reasonable and at least on the day I went, their ammo was cheaper than Walmart(what the hell?). We actually lost money by going to Walmart first to purchase ammo. Anyway, the whole place is really professional and they watch you on cameras so you don’t feel like there’s someone standing behind you scrutinizing your gun etiquette. Instead it’s just someone on a computer a couple rooms away. My friend is really big into guns and he just about died from excitement when we were walking around.

Well, I tried to get on a 35 yard lane, but was told there was a long wait by the young lady behind the counter. NOW, I am sure that it is stated somewhere that 5.56 is not allowed in the 25 yard lanes. I’m sure of it, but must have missed it. As she checked me in I unzipped my bag and motioned to my ammo, not once, but twice. The main purpose for my visit was to zero in my scope so I was ok with a 25 yard lane as there was no wait. I asked where the lanes were located and she sent me on my way. It was not even 5 – 10 minutes later a young man came in and asked what caliber I was firing. I said«5.56». He said that was not allowed in the 25 yard lanes and advised me that I had to leave. No options, no estimated wait time on the 35 yard lanes, no problem resolution, no sign of customer service — NOTHING. So I got back in line and ended up getting the same young lady. I told her I was not aware and her response was«I thought you had .22» has she handed me my drivers license. Again, no apology. Not even concerned about wether or not I got my money’s worth. This place could use some service training. I would be worried about loyalty and repeat business. Training on problem resolution is a must due to the fact that there are quite a few options out there for guys like me that just want to shoot every now and then. Maybe script training on what to say during transactions. A simple«what caliber are we shooting today» would have prevented this bad experience. The staffed seemed overwhelmed. The two guys in the machine gun shop DIDNOTWANTTOBEATWORK today. Talk about a couple of no shit caring dudes. Now, being an Army vet, 11B with the 3rd and 1st Infantry Divisions I bring a lot of pride and know-how into those doors with me. Being sent down a road to failure by one employee so another one can correct you hurts — I’m not ashamed to admit it. Probably won’t be back… no matter how damn good those nachos were. Just felt like it was amateur hour.
