I really don’t see how much better it could get. My whole family comes to see Tina and the rest of the providers here. They are responsive, gentle, and funny but will let you rest while they are doing ‘their thing’, if that is what you want. My visits last about 2 hours and are so relaxing. No loud noise as in some other spas. They remember their customers and what they had last time but will also ask if they want something new. Just generally treat you like family. I love it here! (PS. No, I do not get ‘that’ kind of bikini wax.)

If you’re wanting a manicure or a pedicure, I recommend Vo. They have a decent selection of colors, the atmosphere is very relaxing– not what you would expect for being in a strip mall– and the surroundings appear clean. The nail tech filed my nails, massaged my hands, and applied a lovely champagne shade. I was disappointed that the manicure started to chip so soon but that might be standard(I’m not a frequent manicure person). The experience felt reasonably priced and I was very pleased. Definitely worth five stars so why the two star review you’re wondering? Because of the waxing. I’d heard the ladies at Vo did a great job of(humiliating overshare alert– let my pain be your gain) bikini waxing so I booked an appointment for a… more thorough procedure. Now, I knew this was going to hurt like heck and my pain expectations were fully met but my complaint with the first experience is that I left feeling like flypaper– I was sticky all over since she did a cursory job of cleaning off the residual wax so that was really unpleasant. Because I’m a glutton for punishment I booked a second appointment a while later and that’s where this review dips into one star territory. When you’re flat on your back and half dressed, you don’t want to hear the person assigned to slap hot wax on your privates making nervous, agitated noises. Apparently, my skin is über-sensitive and wasn’t reacting well so she called in another woman and they hovered over me whispering in Vietnamese while I’m wondering what I did in a past life to deserve this humiliation now. The first woman then explains to me about my skin and how she is «afraid» to continue but how I should mention this for a discount next time or she can continue on with tweezers now. At this point I’m wondering if I’m on Candid Camera. Feeling like a half-plucked chicken, I opted to leave(after I paid full price– adding insult to injury). The rooms for waxing are(again) very clean and nicely decorated and the salon overall is a good place for a manicure/pedicure day. If you’re getting your eyebrows done, Vo might be fine but for anything more involved, I’d go someplace else.
