Toys R Us

This place is so trashy. There is always only one register open for check out with a long line. I have had a better experience at the Toys R Us in Norman.

I visited this store tonight trying to finish up some last minute Christmas shopping. They had a lot of really good sales going on but most of their inventory was already depleted. I still managed to find a few items my 7yo will love! Now the downside… There was a group of associates using vulgar language by the video game display area. I’m not usually one to complain about profanities but this is completely unacceptable in a children’s store-​especially when they were so loud I could hear them from over 50 feet away while kids were present. The F-​bomb isn’t a word most parents would want their children learning at Toysrus of all places. I finished loading my cart and proceeded to checkout. At the register I brought up the fact that I purchased over $ 30 worth of Legos which should have earned some sort of free gift as advertised. The cashier wasn’t sure if they had any left so he proceeded to flag down another associate who was obviously put out by having to check for said free item. Both of them were extremely unhelpful and rude about the situation. I didn’t go in there expecting anything for free but don’t advertise a free gift all over the Lego section if you ran out of that particular gift way earlier in the day. That’s terrible advertising! This store is usually one of my favorites to go to and I’ve never had an issue there until today. Get your act together guys! Maybe this explains the rumors as to why you are going out of business. Good help is hard to come by and this is a prime example.

I not sure why people have had so many negative things to say about this location. It’s really a lovely store. Very clean, several employees throughout the store, fully stocked shelves of fantastically colorful toys. What’s not to love?

Bought pre made formula bottles for my 3 week old baby. When I checked the date it had expired 5 months earlier. We went back to the store and they still had 6 cases on the shelf. they clearly do not check their expiration dates. would definitely not even give it a star

I love how they have a lot of toys you can’t find anywhere else. I hate how they jack up the price on toys you can find everywhere else. Legos for example. Thankfully we have a Lego store at Penn Square so we don’t have to pay jacked up prices for sets that are only at the Lego store and Toys R Us.
