Can’t believe they aren’t pet friendly any more!!!

I love Home Depot! It’s nickname at our house is «Toys for me» lol
I spend a great deal of time fixing stuff around the house, especially in spring! Mowing, weed whacking, gardening, painting, I do it all. I also like to re-​purpose things, repaint them, find a new use for a old thing & make new uses for old things, make them cool again ;)
This is a favorite hobby of mine, I’m always treasure hunting.
Recently I found this solid wood small antique 4 drawer Arcadia dresser. It was just what I was looking for to fit in a small space.
But, boy was it ugly! OMG! The ugliest mustard yellow I have ever seen with some kind of fruit decal on the front! Whoa! It was really FUGLY! It def needed a new face lift!
So off to Home Depot I go in search for some paint to give my new treasure a complete overhaul! lol
I’m always painting. I’m an artist & paint paintings all the time so I’m very familiar with paints, acrylic, oil, latex etc.,
I was there gathering up the necessary paint brushes, drop cloths, sand paper, paint trays etc.,
as Home Depot has everything you could possible need to get the job done easily & efficiently.
As I’m fannying about scanning the paints, the HD employee, paint person, (in the paint section) came over to inquire about my little project. They were so helpful, kind & professional as well as thoroughly informed about all the new paint products they carry and turned me onto this new no chip furniture paint!
Its a rust-​oleum ultra cover painters touch premium latex paint & its fast drying! It also comes in many colors, in gloss, semi gloss or matt finishes ;)
I was totally impressed, with the paint personnel’s knowledge, professionalism & the personalized service!
I purchased the suggested new furniture paint in semi gloss black & hurried off to work on my new project!
I finished it after a couple days & I couldn’t be more satisfied with my new repurposed antique dresser!
It came out beautiful! The paint is phenomenal! It looks absolutely brand new & I couldn’t be more happy with the new product they suggested. I can’t wait to find another new ‘old’ piece of furniture to paint! lol
This location is now my new location of choice for all my projects as the service here is first class!

It was a Friday night and I was on a mission to get my kitchen organized. I first used Google to find where the best price was for a 3 shelf unit.
Upon calling to see if they have any stock and to check their pricing, I received a helpful man that help me determine that they did have stock and the price was exactly what I was looking for.
The store was pretty empty, but it was clean and well staffed. Once we were ready to check out, all I could find were the self-​help registers; but there was a woman standing there to help if needed.
Their prices are normal for a large chain home improvement store.
