The Garden Gnome Bonsai

I’m not a bonsai expert, but this store was a great place to get a gift for a friend. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also will custom-​build a bonsai sculpture in a vase that you bring from home.

Such a fun and completely original place! They have wonderful little trinkets and garden/​yard pieces in addition to their vast assortment of terrarium accoutrements and bonsai trees. I always love browsing through the shop and pretty much never walk away empty handed.
If you want to build your terrarium there they are happy to accommodate you! That way you have trained professionals to ask advice of if you’re a newbie like me.

Adorable little store. Which looks like it was a house at one point. In crown heights. And extremely reasonably priced.

They also have an option to have them plant your plant for you so you don’t have to pay for a huge bag of dirt and rocks and such just to pot one plant. I love this option because this way i know it has exactly the type of material and stuff it needs for drainage. They of course has amazing bonsais and also an array of succulents. They are easy to get in and out of with parking and extremely helpful! I love plants but i’m kind of a plant serial killers. I just love them, to death. I either over water or under water. However i now have four healthy plants living it up in my living room growing happily by the window.
