Great place for a burger! The jalapeño cheeser is a solid choice. It’s hard to compare to other local places as an out-of-towner but it was better than a similar burger I had at S&Bs Burger Joint the day before.

service is good and waiters adorable, NOONE ever answers the phone and that is annoying. Burgers good and fish and chip great, tacos are good most of the time but if a different cook, they taste different. friendly and fast

1:30 today was my first visit, and I didn’t know what to do once I entered. Do I sit down and wait for a waiter or is there is a place to go to and order? So I stopped this staff person and asked. He said that it was around the corner under the big menus. So I stepped up, and this tall, bearded and very heavy guy turned and looked down his nose at me without a bit of expression. «Do you want to order?» He asked. I felt like saying, «Oh, hell no, I just like to stand around for nothing,» but I didn’t. Where do they get folks like this? I said that I would like a burger with onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato and mustard, and he said, «Then you want a classic?» I said, «If it’s got all that on it, then yes.» «Anything to drink?» He asked, with the same expressionless face. «Ice water, will do, and I’d like some extra mustered on the side.» He handed me a number that was attached to a metal stick that stands up at the table so they can find the customer and deliver the order. I paid with cash. And Mr. big, heavy and bearded, coldly handed me the change and a receipt without any expression, thank you, or kiss mine or anything. So that was that. Good thing I don’t own the place. However, the bottom line is that it was a very good burger, fried just the way I’d do it if I could, and the pickles, and onion, and the tomato and the lettuce were all on straight. It was nice and greasy, just like Ron’s on May Ave. The girl who brought it to my table did not bring the extra mustard but went after it and brought it back with the ice water that she didn’t bring with the order and did this without a word or expression either and never returned or looked toward my table again. After the burger, I left without a word or expression– or tip.

It took one trip a Garage location for it to take over as my favorite burger on this planet. I stick to my usual mushroom and swiss burger that comes topped with a life changing garlic aioli. Some times I order the garlic parmesan fries with an extra side of garlic aioli to dip them in. It really is that good. The maxi cali dog is delicious, I’ll order this if it’s my third time eating at The Garage for the week and I’ve satisfied my need for the burgers. Every once in awhile I will come up to this location to sit at the bar and just have a beer. It’s the closest place to me that feels like a «bar.» Then of course I’ll order some sweet potato fries to munch on while I drink. All Garage locations are consistently friendly, clean, welcoming and downright delicious. I’m very lucky to have this one within a mile of my house!

Great neighborhood place. I have eaten there 20 times or more and have always been happy. Staff are young and friendly. Check out the hotdogs if you are not in the mood for a burger. Even my vegetarian daughter likes the place.

The Garage has some of the best burgers around okc. I’m not to crazy about the fries and a couple of the footlong coney’s. Great food, awesome beers, jammin service, very affordable, killer locations and atmosphere.

The wife and I have come here several time. Usually we have a game where the wife picks what burger I’m going to eat as a surprise. This time she made a wonderful pick. She selected for me the bacon cheese patty melt. This was hands down the best patty melt I have had the pleasure of placing on my mouth and tasting with my taste buds. Cheesy, bacon-y, onion-y, and yummy. The other burgers I’ve consumed here are good as well. This is 4 stars do to the lack of «crisp» on the fries(they are ALWAYS soggy), the loudness of the tv’s(I had to yell at my wife the whole time and I was 2 ft from her face) and the annoyance of how often someone tries to sell you a «drink from the bar.» Ask once, if I say«no» accept that and move on, don’t send someone else over to ask 4 mins later.

Stopped in at this Garage after a Unilocal event a few weeks ago, and it definitely lives up to the good Garage name. The garden patty at The Garage is the best veggie burger in OKC, and I am always happy to partake in a garden cheeseburger with some oh-so tasty fries. What I liked about Garage Rockwell was that it had more of a bar vibe. Garage Edmond is the one I most frequent, and given that it’s the ‘burbs, the bar is off in the corner. Garage Rockwell’s bar on the other hand overlooks aalllll the tables, and with trivia going on that night, there was plenty of people having a good time. I’m usually not on this side of town, but good to know there’s always a Garage around in case of «emergencies.»

Late night burger, salad and $ 2 Coors original … This is your place! Pleasantly happy to see the trivia night in full swing as well on a Wednesday night. We love Garage. Who doesn’t? This location was clean and staff actually appeared to love their jobs! Plenty of tables and fun people and sport watching.

This was my 2nd time at the Garage on Rockwell. I went about a year ago and I was not impressed whatsoever. I decided to give it another shot, hoping it would have improved in a year. I was wrong, no improvement. Here’s a rundown on my complaints regarding this restaurant chain, from the moment we walked in until we left: –Young girl at the register seemed less than thrilled to be working. After we ordered, I asked what her favorite appetizer was. She said«the loaded queso», so I told her we wanted that. Then she asked«which queso do you want? the regular or the loaded?» I thought we had already established which queso was her favorite, the one she was recommending… anyway. We said the loaded queso. — We chose a tall table near the bar. Another young girl came to our table asking if we wanted anything from the bar to drink. We told her our orders(a beer described on the menu as an Amber Ale and a Bloody Mary). She then said«do you guys wanna, um, what’s it called…» and we said«start a tab?» she nodded and said«yah, that.» Way to train your staff, Garage! –When we received the drinks, the beer described on the menu as Amber Ale was definitely not an Amber Ale at all. It was an IPA. We didn’t order an IPA because we do not like IPAs. We thought we were ordering an Amber Ale. Get your beer list corrected, Garage! The Bloody Mary was nothing at all to brag about. It wasn’t great. –We then received our food. I ordered the Bacon Avocado Ranch burger with regular fries. The bun fell apart before I even got my 2nd bite in. There was no ranch to be found, the patty was flavorless, and the avocado was basically the size of the meat itself. Just call it a bacon avocado sandwich. The fries were crappy, too. Very basic, greasy fries. If the burger is going to be crap, at least get better fries. –My boyfriend got a Peanut Butter and Bacon burger, they apparently skipped the peanut butter on it. Maybe they forgot everyone’s condiments that day? In closing — I will not ever go back to any location of the Garage. I’ve told my story to several friends who have been to the Garage and none of them have anything positive to say about this restaurant. I’m bumping Whataburger up above this place on my list of burger places.

I’m a big fan of The Garage. Good burgers with a great range of options. I like that you can get beef, turkey, buffalo or veggie. The Parmesan garlic fries are my absolute favorite, and they have a good beer selection too. We’ve come to this location a couple times for trivia on Wednesday nights and it’s always a good time, and less busy than other trivia nights I’ve been to in town. It’s close to our house and we can always count on it for a good burger and beer!

I absolutely LOVE their burgers. They are like old fashioned hamburgers and just yummy, yummy, yummy. I’ve only been here a few times, but I have gotten the same burger and fries, which I have no complaints. It’s a cool location to go with a group of friends to hang out and enjoy the game or what have you on the tv monitors. This spot will always be a go to.

I love the Garage, and this location is no exception! The staff is friendly, and the food is completely on point. Lots of TVs during sporting events, and not too busy during the lunch rush. Food here is not what you’d think of as healthy, but they actually do have some healthy options like turkey, smoked turkey, veggie burger, and buffalo, which is pretty cool.

Went here with my husband and baby. I had never been here before. It’s kinda cool how there is a line like at chipotle to order your food then you go sit and are able to order drinks there. They have a large selection of 21+ drinks. I ordered a Kentucky Mule and it was sooo good. They use organic ginger beer which is awesome. I also got a slaw burger. I’m a slaw snob and this slaw was DELICIOUS. The service was really fast and it took probably about 10 mins and there was a lot of people there. Our waiter, Ralley(sp?) was the best. Charismatic, friendly, and helpful.

The Garage is a pretty solid place to eat(and drink) at. In fact, it is so solid that I should avoid going as much, because I end up spending way more money than is necessary. The set-up as you walk in has menus available to look at or you can tilt your head up to the long chalkboard that lists all their food, from appetizers to desserts. You order up at the counter, take a number, and sit. From there you do have a server to bring you your food and take any drink orders you may have. Their drink menu is fairly extensive for a place with a vibe that feels more about food than alcohol. A good amount of beer, liquor, cocktails, and shots to choose from. The Gladiator Bomb for $ 5 is my personal kryptonite(SoCo, Sprite, OJ, and an Amaretto drop). Go for an Irish Car Bomb if ya want, but I just don’t like Bailey’s. If the food was just a notch better, I’d bump this to 5 stars. It’s good to me, obviously, if I’ve gone there more than once, though. I’ve had the mushroom burger, fish and ‘chips’, Thunder fries, and the garlic fries. What I’ve found lacking were the fries. They had a decent flavor, but could have stood to be more hot and crispy than they were. Overall, The Garage is a great place to hang out and eat at. … and drink at. I’m sorry, wallet.
