I never came back to the restaurant the owner did send me certificate to try them again I end up giving it to my mother to let her try. So they do have customer service. I would suggest, which I should’ve done then was let them know I was unhappy with my meal then and there. I do feel they would have taking care of me then with a different meal at the time.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times now while visiting family in OKC. The food is entirely decent, home-style Americanised Italian food. The pizzas are nice, with the kind of chewy thin crust that I enjoy. Last night I had the Salmon in a lemon, butter, and caper sauce, and it wasn’t bad at all. They serve fresh, hot foccacia rolls with balsamic and olive oil for dipping. They have a reasonable selection of wines by the bottle. That said, the service is awkward at best. The wait staff seem inexperienced and a bit confused. But overall, it doesn’t take away too much from the meal. Considering the lack of good non-chain restaurants on this side of town, I would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Forgot to finish my review for Spazio’s. I remember this place being called, ‘Spago’ but I guess Wolfgang Puck maybe had an issue with it? Anyways, the family and I came here on a wintry afternoon. It was snowing and I was pregnant with my second son. My boyfriend wanted to try this place for awhile so, we decided on coming here since, it was nearby. We did the lunch option where you pick your pasta, sauce, and meat(s). I had fettuccine with shrimp and ala panna(sp?) sauce. The sauce was a mixture of marinara and alfredo pretty much. Close to vodka sauce, but not nearly as yummy as it. My meal was decent, but nothing authentic. Very Americanized and similar to Olive Garden. My boyfriend had a dish with chicken in it, but described his chicken tasting like the canned variety. We got our son some ‘fried cheese’ aka mozzarella sticks, and he seemed to enjoy them. They tasted like any other frozen mozzarella sticks you can buy in the frozen aisle at your local mega mart. We weren’t very impressed with our meals, and haven’t been back since. We both agree Stella is the best in OKC for Italian.

The last couple of times we have been here it seems the taste of the food is going downhill. I don’t know if there are cost cutting measures in place or just not paying attention to quality. They no longer have the yummy garlic yeast rolls and have switched to a focaccia type bread. Tasted fine but prefer the rolls. My favorite Alfredo was a bland soupy sauce rather than the thick creamy goodness I loved. But my son’s lobster ravioli was really tasty. We may give it one more shot as we like that it’s local.

I guess I prefer authentic Italian compared to bland. The food had no taste at all. Ask for extra cheese and didn’t help. Got to Buena Vista if you want the real thing and you won’t come back here.

I got the Chicken Masala. The place is really nice. I came in after hunting, so they don’t have a tight dress code but other customers were dressed for the evening. The staff was excellent. The bread was good but I’m not big on the balsamic vinegar that they put in the oil for the bread. I would prefer garlic or something. The chicken was a thin price of breast and the sauce tasted like something out of a can. I thought the price was really high for the cheap tasting food. I wouldn’t go back but a lot of places could benefit by taking notes on how great the staff was.

Not as good tonight. The shrimp from the shrimp fra diavolo was not as big as usual and were overcooked. My mom enjoyed her veal Parmesan. I’ll be back. Hopefully it will be better. Overall grade«C».

We thought it was good overall. Clean, nice atmosphere. Little mom and pop-type place. I had the penne bolognese and thought it was good but needed more flavor. The hubby had a pizza and it was good, but the crust was more bready. Their bread was very light, filled with huge holes on the inside and super crisp on the outside. Not a fav in our book. The mozzarella sticks were hollow. Not sure how that happens. Portions were big. Tons of food for the price. The meatballs were super tender, but, again, lacked flavor. They were bland. We will go back to try other menu items.

The food was great. Flavors were well developed, without the extra grease, saltiness or processed nature of chain Italian restaurants. Would recommend to friends.

Limone chicken was great and a nice portion. My friend had the tortellini in creamy wed sauce– it was flavorful as well but could have used some Italian sausage or something more. Portions were nice and the rolls with balsamic and olive oil was a nice touch.

We come here almost every other week! We love this place! Great atmosphere, nice staff, and amazing food. My boyfriend has gotten almost everything on the menu, and we have yet to be disappointed! I recommend the calamari and shrimp fra diavolo! So good! And their bread is the best!

Bellissima! The honey balsamic steak is the best marinated steak in OKC. Lovely, attentive waitstaff who remember you. Reasonable, romantic and a favorite for wine soaked birthday celebrations for adults.

This is the best Italian food I have ever had in Oklahoma. It’s not greasy or salty like olive garden. The bread is handmade and it’s the right amount of salty with chewy with crunchy! Their alla panna sauce is my favorite but my fiancé really likes the Diablo sauce pasta! He doesn’t like Italian good at all but he gives this place a thumbs up! I always get the Caesar salad. Their Caesar sauce is amazing! Not too garlicky or too strong I love this place! One thing though… for some reason when I get a Togo it’s never as good as dining in here

My wife and I found this place while looking for her hair stylist’s new location. I spotted this restaurant and the menu seemed to have a good selection with good prices. She had a salad the«Mozarella Caprese» and she loved it. I had the tortellini alla panna and I loved it. I will also second the comm nets on the rolls. Wicked good! The service was as speedy as possible but we were the only ones there as we arrived before the real dinner hour. In fact, three weeks ago we waited LONGER at a Taco Bell.(Fast food? Not that day). Yeah, the waitress was at our table a lot, but as I said we were the only ones there! Yes we could hear the kitchen staff but as quiet as it was in there how could that be a surprise? Besides, I have heard plenty of noise from the cooking area at Macaroni Grill. I have no complaints on the price. In fact, I paid more for two salads at a Charleston’s the day before. Here I got awesome bread, a large plate of tortellinis and my wife had her big salad. I would personally rather go to a privately owned restaurant(they’re from Sicily we learned) than a corporate chain. My experience is that OKC has scads of chain restaurants and I’m from areas with a lot of privately owned and family places. I’ll be back.

The food is absolutely great!!! It is a drive well worth it for me! The waitstaff… over-trained…too over the top friendly… can i just eat please? I can’t put my finger on it, but I was highly annoyed and ready to leave. However, I still give 4 stars because the food really is that good. It is small and quiet, but nice and clean. Their menu has pretty much anything you could want italian, and their bread is absolutely fabulous… like a little cloud in your mouth.

I’ve been here several times now and I love the food here, and the prices. The reason for 4 stars is the waitstaff is not always professional. It’s a pretty quiet restaurant and I can always hear their conversations in the back which is a little disturbing. The last time I was there our waitress ask us so many questions, I literally wanted to eat my food in the car. «May I grab your used up sugar packets» «Can you move your plate to set down a glass» «Would you mind if I refilled your drink», to every single person multiples times. Now, the food, so amazing. The complimentary rolls were like eating clouds with garlic butter on them, very delicious. I love the option for the alla panna sauce, which is a mixture of alfredo and marinara. I always substitute this sauce, its a $ 1 extra. One thing I didn’t know was extra was $ 5 extra if you get a caesar salad versus a house salad. I wish they had an option for both as the side instead of coming out with a caesar salad the size of a house. I tried all my friends dishes and the veal was amazing, loved the tortellini, I had the spaghetti and meatballs and we also did the calamari as an app. Cooked very well and tasted fresh. I’ll definitely be back! the price tags were fair and the bread is that good.

Today, on our monthly lunch date I took daughter Robin to Spazio’s. We were seated promptly and served immediately, I ordered Bruschetta for something to do while we studied the menu. What should suddenly appear but a basket of rolls and a dish of Italian dipping oil, this tended to make us lollygag a bit longer over the menu quibbling some so we would each order a different entrée. Ooops, here come the Bruschetta, a trio of crusty Italian bread heaped high with delicious accouterments. A good reason to lollgag some more because I sensed my stretch pants were going to be stressed this afternoon. Robin ordered one of the Veal dishes that came on top of Spaghetti with a huge amount of mushrooms and a cream sauce. She enjoyed it, and I nipped a sample and thought it was delightful. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, and it was indeed a taste treat, and the sauce it was served in was outstanding, after relishing the ravioli I sopped up much of the sauce with those tasty rolls which had arrived earlier. Salad was a option with both entees, and it was generous and ordinary, lettuce onion croutons etc, but the house dressing was great, a lovely balance of tanginess and and sweetness. If there was music, I never noticed it because Robin and I so enjoyed easy chit chat at normal conversational levels. Plus, there was no kitchen clatter…

Spazio has decent Italian food in the OKC metro area. It is locally own. Is it the best Italian ever? No. But the food quality is good and they genuinely care about the product they put out. I have had both good and bad experiences here, but my most recent visit was absolutely delicious. We started with their olive spread which is served on freshly baked bread. It is a spin off of olive tapenade that has hints of citrus and is a bit sweet. I was impressed. We followed that with a margarita pizza that our table shared. Delicious! The crust was good and there was plenty of tomato sauce, which I like. They used fresh mozzarella and basil, although it was lacking fresh sliced tomatoes. My dad got the pasta di pesce which is a seafood pasta full of clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari. I ordered the polo limone which is typically served over spaghetti but I asked for it to be served on top of fettuccine Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce was divine, plenty of cheese and garlic. I enjoyed the chicken but it wasn’t fantastic, but the lemon sauce on top was a great addition. I thought the fettuccine was the perfect texture. All meals are served with their homemade Italian rolls. It is essentially yummy yeast rolls that have herbs, garlic, and olive oil spread on top. It is not traditional, but is extremely tasty. I think the prices are reasonable, especially for their elegant décor. The service at Spazio seems like an afterthought; their servers have not been very well-trained but are friendly. All in all this is a classy restaurant that is a nice change of pace to typical South OKC restaurant choices. I look forward to returning.

Before I start me review, let me comment on Chris B.‘s review: The parmesan cheese was fresh served from a rotary grater and the pasta dishes we had were cooked perfectly al dente(firm, but not hard… the way Italians typically prefer pasta, not a pile of mushy noodles.) We had 5 different dishes and one appetizer and all were excellent. Okay, my review: The atmosphere was excellent. Yes, they are located in a strip mall, but once the door closes behind you you’ll forget it. The interior is painted beautifully with well chosen colors and the windows are lined with dark mesh that eliminates the view outside. Music is mostly well chosen instrumentals and somewhat jazzy suited well to the Italian atmosphere. We started with Bruschetta as an appetizer and at first was disappointed because the large plate contained only four small strips of toasted bread about 1.5″ x 4″ with an adequate amount of tomato mixture on top. The taste however was excellent and put most competitors to shame. Maybe six pieces($ 1 per piece) would seem more adequate in my opinion. My Lobster Ravioli was exceptional. The plate contained four large ravioli with a decent amount of lobster and an exceptional amount of creamy marinara sauce. I almost gave in and sopped up the sauce with bread when I finished because it was so good. My wife was extremely pleased with her Rucola salad with chicken. We thought it was the best dinner salad she ever had and would prefer it over anything from Olive Garden, Zio’s or any other Italian chain. The pizza was a good size for kids to share, and we wound up bringing half of it home. Don’t know what to say other than it was 100% hand made hand tossed pizza with quality cheese and sauce… nothing food-service about this. Reminds me of the pizza I got in Trapani and Marsala a fews back. We also had Veal Marsala and Spinach Ravioli at our table and nothing but compliments about them. These folks are hard-core Olive Garden fans and were raving about how exceptional their plates were. The bread was very good as well, served with a bowl of olive oil and balsamic vinegar mixed. Overall, I will say thanks to Groupon for helping me discover this place! I now have a new favorite Italian restaurant!

Ok when you come here and ask for cheese on your entrée, I seriously ask you to reconsider. My friend made the unfortunate mistake today. The waiter will come out w/a metal bowl filled with the powdery Parmesan cheese that one gets from a green kraft can. No bueno at all. It seemed like every dish served had problems with it. From uncooked pasta, to watery sauce, to cold shrimp, the list goes on and on. It’s sad when the best tasting thing from the whole party was the Coke. I hate to say this but do yourself a favor and go to Olive Garden.
