This is the only liquor store that carries a secret weapon for cocktails that I LOVE that I haven’t found anywhere else in the area. It’s also quite a small shop & doesn’t carry any quality wine so scratch that. Couple years ago, when Hubby & I first started coming to this place we met Ben, the owner & his wife. They are the sweetest, cutest little Asian couple you will ever meet. They will order you anything you like if you just ask. We told them some of the stuff we buy on a regular basis & they continually keep it stocked for us. However, it gets pretty sketchy at night so I usually send in the big guns(hubby) at nighttime to do the shopping when we have work related parties & need the 1.5 bottles of extra dry champagne. They make a great French 75, which is a great holiday cocktail that I like to consume in very large quantities throughout the holiday season. Duh! :)‘ We recently turned Ben onto French 75’s also. When hubby & I stopped by today(Friday) he was obviously happy to see us. Oh yeah. Def Recommend.

I’ve been to this location twice, and both times were pretty frustrating. Really, I blame it on the parking lot and the demographic that tend to go here. The parking lot might not be so bad if there weren’t so many pot holes and if people would park in one spot, but it just isn’t the case. This past Friday we pulled into the lot and started to pull into a space, but stopped because the truck right next to the space was just over the line, meaning we wouldn’t fit. We proceeded to back out and wait for a different car that was about to leave. He almost backed right into us! Then the double parked truck left, so we were about to pull into the original spot we were heading for, but a different truck zoomed in from off the street, cut us off, and took our spot — another double parker! A similar situation happened the last time I was here, but thankfully fewer cars were involved. I finally just told the driver to park, got out of the car, and walked in to gather our supplies for a fun Friday night while he maneuvered the car into a parking spot in the small lot. He was still having trouble getting a spot, so he just parked in front of the south entrance. Don’t worry, there was still room to get in. On top of the terrible parking situation, the prices just aren’t competitive. They aren’t outrageous, but they are definitely higher. Honestly, I would rather, and will, drive the 15 blocks north to Amy’s Liquor where the prices are better and the parking lot isn’t such a disaster.
