Every surface in the restaurant is sticky. This is the kind of place where the elderly eat daily and talk about their urinary tract infections until the end of time. Call it Stickerman’s.

I stopped by this place for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and I am so glad I did. I am new to the area and didn’t know what to expect. I ran in to grab a quick lunch to go. My husband had the«número uno» and I had the turkey club sandwich. Both the white and wheat bread were freshly baked and delicious. Both sandwiches had great flavor. The prices were super cheap and the service was quick. The iced tea was good. I love pleasant surprises like Pickerman’s. I can’t wait to go back. If you’re eating at subway or jimmy johns, you should be ashamed of yourself. This place is where lunch is at!

I really like pickermans sandwich although my mom got the same sandwich and threw it out after a couple bites. However the mgr(I’m sure that’s who took my order and have me my food to me) was hateful and just odd. He sassed me to go make my drinks(he didn’t want me standing there why they made the sandwiches) and insinuated I was lying about no sauce being in the bag as he had to look to see hisself it wasn’t there!!! and he got visually upset that I placed a bag of chips back on the cart in the wrong spot. For sure a major rude, obnoxious weird person and made the whole place uncomfortable and the experience bad. Won’t be back because of him!!!

This is great little mom and pop shop with good food. Their service is impeccable and food is fresh. I enjoy coming here on my lunch breaks because of how quick they are to serve you. I haven’t had anything on the menu I didn’t like. I usually get the smoked turkey or chicken sub with the tomato basil soup. I have to try their apple cobbler with ice cream next time cause I’ll be returning pretty soon.

I’m a big fan of Pickerman’s soup and Sandwich. I often come here for lunch when in a pinch. This is very much a mom and pop operation, I think the owner has taken my order every time I’ve visited. The interior is a little dated but the food is delicious. The breads are always made fresh. The salads are simple and delicious. If you want a good quick place to get a bite to eat, this is the place to visit. Friendly service and tasty simple food, what else can you ask for?

Have passed this place countless times then finally ordered a sandwich. Ordered the classic club and it was great. The tomato bread was the best. Sandwich was prepared nicely. Friendly service.

This little sandwich shop is something else. The subs themselves were just OK. Nothing to great, but good price and great for lunch. The soup tasted mass produced. Where this place shines is the owners. So friendly and the décor is perfect. Such a home feel to it. I love it and will be back. The ice cream was great as well.

You wonder how businesses like these survive. You walk in and you know nothing has ever been updated since they opened. You also wonder how this couple ended up owning such a place. It’s not the best place to get soup and sandwiches by any stretch if the imagination, but sometimes, the honest hospitality makes the dining experience rose tinted. Weary travelers after driving 4 days with a newborn, 80lb dog and car… starting to feel like you caught the flu… Soup sounded like a good idea. Somehow, driving through a new town, found this mom and pop operation. Hesitant at first but left with little options, headed in. I don’t think they do ice cream anymore, as the ice cream counter was empty. Shame. There was a dry erase board with the menu. Was it the best food? No. Edible. Yes. Bread was freshly baked, ingredients seemed fresh. But why the 4 stars? You knew the few patrons they have were regulars. The workers talked to you… And really, it was such a hot day, that we tied our dog to the back fence and they also let us being our cat in his carrier with us(we were so afraid he would overheat). They really did us a solid. You will definitely feel like ur in a small town sandwich shop.

Typical mom and pop sandwich spot. Food was good, nothing extraordinary though. I ordered the Big Guy and the meat and veggies were all fresh. The bread was warm and soft and not overwhelming, which was a nice change from other sub restaurants. Overall, a solid 3, and I would come back.

This mom and pop sandwich shop is my favorite lunch place in south OKC. The food is made right when you order it and is always good. Try the Greek salad, the dressing is delicious! The veggie sub is great and unique. The owners are always friendly and will remember you when you go in. If you are wanting soup, salad, sandwiches and maybe some ice cream for dessert I highly recommend Pickerman’s!

Simple place, nothing fancy. I had the meatball sandwich and the wife had veggie soup and half a roast beef sandwich. We both had the tomato bread on our sandwiches and it was soft and very tasty. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich the sauce was obviously not from a can but it could have been a bit more spicy, probably about right for most folks though. Service was fast, food good and the place is clean(although the furnishings are a bit dated). We’ll be back.

This is a definite«Mom-n-Pop Shop.» The exterior doesn’t speak for the service and food; it looks older and run down. But inside, the staff was friendly, plenty of seating, and mostly clean. This place has a «home feel» to it. There is a good menu selection, including sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. The pricing is fair enough, averaging $ 5 – 8, depending on what you get and if you get extras, such as a combo. I ordered the Pick 2 option of half sandwich and a small bowl of soup($ 5.99). The roast beef sandwich on sun-dried tomato bread was fantastic. Only downside is it came with one somewhat large slice of meat, topped with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. The bread was soft and fresh. I got the country potato soup and it was delicious and hot. Overall I would recommend this place and definitely come back. The only reason I rated a 4⁄5 is because I felt the sandwich could have used more meat for filling. Everything else was great. I don’t like to eat in dirty or old establishments, but Pickerman’s is nice enough to enjoy!

This place has one of the most delicious vegetarian sandwiches ever. My friends have been telling me about this place for three months and I just got around to trying it the other day. The only downside to the place is that it is SLOW. I came in and was the only one placing an order. I ordered one sandwich and it took them almost ten minutes to make it and as far as I could see, no one else was waiting for an order. Their slowness, however, is made up for with literally one of the best sandwiches I have tasted. I don’t know if they put crack on that sandwich to keep me coming back or what it is but it is exquisite and incredibly filling. Not only that, but my sandwich was $ 5! I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of a delicious sandwich on a tight budget. I would say that calling in the order and picking it up is the best way to go, though.

I tried this mom and pop shop on a whim. While I admit the looks of the place is very low key I thought the food was good and tasted fresh. We ordered the número uno and a turkey sandwich. I like that the bread wasn’t so thick that it was all I tasted. The bread was very soft, fresh and the sundried tomato bread with the turkey was very yummy. The special italian sauce on the número uno was also tasty and not too strong. I was also glad that the sandwiches are served warm. The interior was quite clean and the staff friendly. I wouldn’t make a special trip to Pickermans(as I don’t live nearby) but would definitely eat there again if I was in the neighborhood.

I really like this little sandwich shop. It is a small 2-person operation; you have to order at the counter. While it’s not luxurious by any means, the bread is fresh baked and the prices are surprisingly low. the soup is okay. The ice cream(located by the door so you HAVE to pass it when you leave) is delicious! A good laid-back place.

This place is the pits. The food is okay, nothing special, but the service is pitiful and by that i mean the first time i went there-there was one other person in front of me. It took me 30 minutes to get my order. Why are they so slow? The second time, was during lunch hour and i kew it but was prepared to wait. I waited an hour, along with several others, and never got my food, they never even hinted at starting or gettin my order. If you have all day to wait, dont mind a sour attitude and mediocre food then go here. If not, go to Circle K across the street and get some crackers and a pop about the same difference. PS= i am not hard to please and this is the lowest rating i have ever given…
