Two words for all you Disney Parks fans out there: DOLEWHIP. Ok it’s not actually called Dole Whip at Orange Leaf, but it IS actually made by Dole, according to their site, which does make it the official thing. Since I’m no where near Disneyland or Disney World, I am absolutely thrilled to have it here. There were several other flavors as well, although I can’t quite recall what they were since I was repeatedly saying«Dole Whip! Dole Whip! Dole Whip!» in my head. There were several options for toppings ranging from fruit to the more«junky» stuff. Popping boba was available in strawberry and mango. Although I’m always delighted to have popping boba available, I really wish places would carry more flavor variety in it. I would LOVE some lychee ones or kiwi or really just anything in addition to the popular strawberry and mango. There are many flavors out there. There are two size: large and ginormous. The ginormous one is clearly meant to be shared. I got a large one, filled it up about two thirds with the pineapple soft serve(ahem, Dole Whip), and some fruit and boba, and the total was almost $ 8. Orange Leaf has many flavors available, but each location only has a handful of them. Aside from calling ahead of time or just showing up to find which flavors are available, you can go to the website, select your store, and it will list the current flavors. Convenient when looking for a specific flavor. Also — there’s a tip jar??? This is self serve. In other words, you do all the work. You pick your cup. You put the soft serve in the cup. You put all your own toppings on. The only thing the employee does is see how much it weighs and tells you how much it is. Sorry, but that’s just not worthy of having a tip jar out.
