First time here. I had my eyes on this spot for a while! It’s kind of in a weird location, it’s on the backside of a building from the main road. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the food came out in no time fresh and hot! I got the Turkey Guacamole(hot) which was pretty good. Cheese came out melted and gooey. I got my sandwich to-go, and by the time I made it home(8.0 miles) it still was nice and warm! I’m sure it would have been better if I at it there. It was still good, regardless… The inside is very nice and modern. This is a great spot for lunch! I will be back.

Amazing food, amazing coffee and amazing service! We need OSBCs in Kansas! I’ll definitely be back, every time I’m in OKC.

Great place to grab a bite! Fun vibe & big place with an open 2 floor space. Big menu with a bunch of fun bagel sandwich choices, and a build your own section with a ton of available options. You can go either the breakfast or lunch route. I had a build your own with lox, avocado and sprouts on multigrain. It was fresh and tasty. There were also salads and traditional sandwiches on the menu. Free wifi. Good coffee. Good service. I live only a few blocks away and actually discovered it browsing Unilocal. It’s basically on 23rd(backside of strip mall on the north side of the street) but you really have to looking to catch the signage. Plenty of parking around back.

So I’m weird in the mornings and they are always so very friendly and accommodating. If you want a bagel packed with veggies for breakfast, they will make it happen. If you want all of the meats for breakfast, again, will deliver with a smile. I love bread and veggies and cream cheese, so this is favorite. So happy it’s open and so close to my office!

I came in yesterday on my way to Urban Teahouse. I love to sit at the bar at Teahouse and enjoy free, fast Wifi and a nice pot of tea. But sometimes a gal gets hungry! Fortunately, the owner of Teahouse doesn’t mind if you bring in outside food since she doesn’t serve any food beyond delicious cookies. So I was relived to remember that I can park once, grab a sandwich at OSBC and then head over to Teahouse. I got the ham and swiss on a croissant, and it was ready so fast! I could barely check-in on Unilocal before my handmade-to-order sandwich was ready to go! I didn’t dine-in, but it looked clean and tidy. The employees helping me were neither friendly nor unfriendly, but I think that’s pretty standard for the OSBCs I’ve been to. But I enjoyed my sandwich, and they got my order correct, and man was it fast. As with all the businesses on the back side of The Rise, I wonder how anyone who doesn’t already know they’re there will ever find them, and I sure hope their rent is about half what is for the business owners who face 23rd street. If it keeps going strong, I’ll be here a lot on my way to my office away from home, Teahouse.

Old school bagel is an every week meal for me. It’s comfort food, it’s a quick meal, a place to meet up to catch up with friends, hangover cure. Everything I’ve had has been so good. It’s all customizable so don’t be afraid to change it up. My favorite is the everything bagel. They also do hot and iced coffee/lattes that are tasty. I think the thing that I love the most is the owner is almost always there and always in a great mood. So friendly and making people laugh. The whole staff is great. I am so happy that the 23rd street location is open. I’m pretty sold on OSBC for life, because how can you not like a freshly boiled bagel with equally good toppings?

Lovee this location. Such a cool, two-story place to eat delicious bagels(including gluten free). One of my favorite places to go in OKC!

This was an awesome find in the Paseo district. We thought the place was closed because the GPS leads you to a street facing empty storefront. The Old Bagel sign looks faded, so you may think it’s closed, but you have to walk around to the back. The choices were absolutely amazing and their willingness to make you a super customized bagel sandwich was awesome. My Bricktown was tasty. I added sprouts and avocado and I loved it. The price isn’t bad. I definitely have a new spot!

I came here on a weekend morning. I took awhile to scan their expansive menu(so many choices!) before deciding on a french toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and the Firecracker for my boyfriend. I added avocado to the Firecracker breakfast bagel(which I think I also paid extra for), but when I got home there was no avocado to be found — so, that was irritating. However, they both still tasted yummy. The coffee drinks were delicious. And the staff was friendly; I think my to-go order was handed to me by whom I perceived to be either the owner or a manager — super kind. The décor is also different for a(mainly) breakfast place. Its sort of sports bar-y with big screen TVs and a fairly modern aesthetic. I’m sure I’ll definitely be going back despite avocadogate.

The bagel was fine. The service was not. The person working there called my co-workers names(piece of s*** and motherf***er). He did it in a joking way, however I feel like there is no excuse for his behavior. I’m curious if he acts this way when children are present. The only reason I gave one star is because Unilocal won’t let me not give one at all. I have been to the downtown location several times and have never ever had a problem, and everyone working there is super nice. If you want a bagel, I suggest going there and not to the Uptown location.

I fell in love with Old School Bagel when I attended a church directly behind their location in NWOKC. I had no idea that salt bagels existed before, but I fell in love at first bite. Unfortunately, it has never been convenient to get one regularly, as someone who lived in central OKC. the downtown location was a pain to get to, since I don’t work downtown, and all the other locations were at least a 10 minute drive from my usual routes. When OSB opened up in The Rise, I was ecstatic. The service in this location is top notch– the owner/general manager is incredibly friendly, and they are always on their game. It lives up to the standards of every other location in terms of food quality, and I like that there’s some space to stretch out here. The location is modern, and well constructed. I’m here at least once a week, and I’ve been preaching the OSB gospel to all my friends. Go– you won’t regret it.

Our new go-to place. Every combination, every menu choice has been great. Jacob makes every visit enjoyable. I had the Cuban on an onion bagel today and it was fantastic. Try the cream cheese and lox(with capers and onions) on a French toast… sweet, salty, sour, cheese Loxy — super if a little sticky. So glad it is less than a ten-minute walk from the house.

I moved to the Paseo district in January of this year. As was my custom in my previous home, I woke up on a Sunday morning absolutely craving a bagel for breakfast. I pulled up my map and was dismayed to find this part of town basically bagel-free. Could I have driven downtown? Sure. Did I want to? Hell no. I wanted somewhere I could roll out of bed in my sweatpants and top knot and grab a bagel and coffee without having to think about it. Imagine my joy when I discovered that Old School Bagel Café was opening a location right in my neighborhood. A quick 6-block stroll(or, let’s be honest… a two-minute drive), and I could be in bagel heaven. And I was. The breakfast bagel with sausage, egg, and swiss cheese on a sesame bagel was exactly what I wanted. The coffee was great, there’s decent parking behind Pizzeria Gusto, and the food is definitely of the 4-star variety. The bagels have that amazing chewiness that can really only come from being bathed in boiling water for a couple of minutes before going in the oven. «Old school» indeed. I realize this is overly picky, but it drove me so crazy as I was standing there reading the menu… SPELLINGMISTAKES on the menu. Proofread, please. I’ll even go on record and say that if any restaurants would like me to proofread their menus, I’d gladly do it on the cheap. I really, really hate spelling mistakes that shouldn’t make it through the number of people I’d assume they do. «Itailian Soda» and«Expresso» both make an appearance on the OSBC menu. Aside from«Expresso» being a major pet peeve of mine, I could almost believe they did it on purpose if it weren’t for the«Itailian» soda. I realize that dropping a restaurant from 4-star to 3-star based on egregious spelling errors may be considered extreme, I just really can’t handle it. That said, if I see the menu corrected on any one of my many future trips, I will gladly revisit this review and bump up the star rating.

This is a great addition to The Rise! I live nearby and love to pop in for lunch! The customer service at this location is the best I think I’ve ever seen! They are always happy and address you by name(once they ask for it). They are FAST too! I’m overall just very very impressed with the way this café is managed! It’s so well managed that I would come here even if the food was sub par, which it is not! The food is great too. I usually just get the Asian salad but I their bagels are always a good option too. Welcome to the neighborhood OSB! The only thing I wish were different were the hours. I wish I could come in for dinner!

I love that they opened this location. So much easier than dealing with the downtown location and not that far from it. The staff here is super friendly and accommodating, and the food is always excellent. Highly recommended.

Finally! A place to go and sit down for breakfast that’s easy and good. We all know Old School Bagel, what’s thrilling is this new location with its two-story building and free wifi. Great for hipster skaters from across the street, young families, and scraggly old guys, Uptown’s OSB is quickly becoming a go-to for the neighborhood. They even have a few outdoor tables too. PROS: Bagels. Duh. Good coffee too. Location. Super friendly employee(you’ll know him when you see him). CONS: Bad lighting upstairs makes productivity on a laptop difficult. Not open 24 hours a day which makes OSB incapable of fulfilling my bagel craving at 3 am(hypothetically).

Same good stuff as the other OSBCs in town. Bagels, good variety of sandwiches. This location hasn’t been open long — it is in the rear of new development on Walker and 23rd(The Rise). great spot for lunch or quick breakfast 7 days a week.

They offer great coffee and the best customer service. I would recommend eating anything here. The bagels are cooked fresh daily from boiling to baking… They offer a huge selection of hand crafted bagels.

Brand new location opened today. It’s a 2-story café with lots of seating. Comfortable, clean, awesome. And the owners are legit too. Coffee, bagels, lox! Can’t go wrong.
