Oklahoma Surgicare

I was suppose to have my surgery on 1÷5÷15. I was treated so well with my pre op nurse who was the sweetest women ever !!! When it came to the insurance lady who name was Jennifer she was very rude ! She called me and basically demanded that I pay 3250 or no surgery at all ! I asked for a payment plan of any sort she said care credit or pay 450 the day of surgery and pay the rest of it in 90 days who can afford over 1000 a month in medical bills? I have two insurances which my deductible is 2000 and should not be required to pay that much mind you I was already shelling out $ 700 to my doctor ! I ended up canceling it because the way I was treated ! Why go somewhere who wants you to pay as an urgent care.

Although I had a arrival time of 11:45 for my surgery I wasn’t seen till 1pm and had a lot of wait. Not sure if this was due to my dr or the surgical facility.
Upon being seen the staff was very nice and thorough. My total time at facility was only about 6 hours and they wheel chair you out the side door where you can’t be seen.
The pre op went well. Nurse took my vitals and got me comfortable, immediately after the anesthesiologist came and talked to me briefly before putting me under. I don’t recall seeing my dr other than during pre op. The procedure went well and they allowed my spouse to dress me and help me which I preferred to the nurse doing it.
My recovery seemed a bit rushed and I had to ask for pain relief beyond what I was already giving since my pain was more than I anticipated. But I was well cared for and my privacy was respected. I will review my dr separately as soon as I’ve finished healing.
Altogether for private pay out-​patient surgery I highly recommend this facility and for 4 hours it cost me $ 1300 for facility fees.
