EVERYTHINGWASEXPIRED! Bugs and cobwebs on packages of cookies. Should be shut down. I couldn’t find one dang thing that wasn’t expired! Lemon cookies, expired. Pumpkin cookie at front counter, expired. Even the natural vanilla cream pop, expired! I came in to get my daughter some tea tree shampoo for her dandruff(she is 3) and everything we wanted to get was expired. We brought some cookies to the car and there was cobwebs and everything around the packaging. I’d never go here again. Health food my foot, this place should be shut down! I am writing the city about this place! They wouldn’t even refund for their expired garbage!

My grandmother swears they have the best carrot juice ever. I just can’t get past the cobwebs I found in my granola bar and the four times I have accidentally purchased something expired. The milk and meat is usually pretty fresh though there is limited selection and its pretty pricey. I think it is weird when you walk into a «health food store» and the guy that works is a giant pig farmer looking guy in overalls and a foggy smirk. They are generally pretty nice(I guess its the same family that’s owned it all these years) but I don’t know that I would ask them for health advice. The ceiling tiles are yellow and water stained. The carpet is dirty and the aisles are crowded. The only reason I ever go here is because it’s the only place near downtown/the capitol to get any kind of health food. They have a great selection of kombucha and energy drinks too. The carrot juice is indeed pretty tasty but you never know when someone is going to be around to make it. Overall, I would rather drive a little ways north to Whole Paycheck or Sunflower.
