I have been to OKC about 6 times for work over the past 3 years and always seem to find myself at Monroe’s at least once each visit. I think it’s mainly because our contractors and my customer like this place. It’s close to the base, which is convenient, but I think the food could be a lot better then it is. It’s popular as being the place to go for burgers and their daily specials. As far as that goes, the food is perfectly fine. It’s a small, dainty place but with a home cooking feel. Now one thing I would change is the Chinese portion of the menu. The crab rangoons are a joke and the egg drop made me a little nauseous. But hey, the place is always busy so kudos to them for making most items on their menu delicious.
