McAlisters fits the role for me when I’m looking for something somewhat healthy, but don’t want to drive to far for something better. I can never seem to give it more than three stars. I ordered the spicy southwest chicken griller with chicken tortilla soup. The griller seemed a little on the soggy side today, but the soup was pretty good and bad a little kick to it. It also came with some chips to dip in it.
The service was fast and friendly, so that’s a plus. Restaurant is always clean too.

I had started going to this location several weeks ago and have been about 15 times, lunch and dinnet hours. The food is good. The issue is the environment… if you try to sit away from the kitchen noise you need to take a sweater or jacket with you. If you sit outside take plenty of wet napkins to wipe the bird droppings off the tables and chairs. If you want to sit comfortably inside wear ear plugs! The decibel level has got to be over 85db! Between dirty dishes being thrown into a sink and the employees trying to talk over the thrown dishes you cannot have a conversation with a party at your table and by the time you realize you cannot even hear yourself think you are ready to scream! The dirty dish area should not be located at the dining area and the thermostat should not be a challenge about seeing your breath and if an outdoor dining area is offered keep it free of bird droppings! Panera seems to handle patio furniture cleaning in an exemplary manner!

When you come in they ask if your order is for here or to go. We ate in so we received a number after paying and picked a booth to sit at. I had a very detailed order since I removed the butter, cheese, and onions from both my spud and my daughter’s and I asked if I could do extra veggies instead. I crossed my fingers that the potatoes would be made correctly. Other than a few small onions on my daughter’s spud they were correct. The potatoes were very dry and the veggie topping wasn’t the best, I picked off the green peppers. I wonder if it would have been better with steamed veggies on top for some moisture. After I finished the potato I noticed the burnt bottom of the potato skin.

I love another franchise. Sometimes the line is long but it’s worth it. I always get the cranberry club with Mac and cheese. The tea is in the sweet side so I get half and half. The staff is very friendly and they have outside seating.

This was my first time trying McAlister’s, and I loved it! So many tasty looking vegetarian options on the menu that it was hard to choose. Had to go for a new experience and try my first spud. Yum! Clean place, friendly service too.

Alright, this McAlister’s is spot on. The service is ALWAYS great and the food is ALWAYS good.
I generally get the chicken caesar salad and it’s always delish. The caesar dressing is addicting. I’m a caesar salad snob. The mac and cheese is creamy and bombastic. I just recently tried a sandwich for the first time and it was pretty good as well. I got the spicy southwest chick griller. It was perfect.
The unsweet ice tea is pretty good too. All in all, i love getting lunch here, and the people working are always on top of their game.
