McAlister’s Deli

Every time I come here they lose a star. The first time it was a luke warm potato and half a pickle, the second time it was a mcalisters club without bacon, and the last time it was a mcalisters club soaking in honey mustard, with broken toothpick pieces hidden in it and seriously lacking in meat. I love the mcalisters chain but this location is an absolute joke. I understand making a mistake or two every once in a while, but every time I come in here the food is far below par. If I every come in here again, it will not be by choice. It simply is not worth wasting my money.

I’ve been going to Mcalisters locations for years. This location is by far the worst. First off, there’s never enough people at the counter. I went in at 3:45 today (not a busy time whatsoever) just wanting a tea and cookie for the road. It wasn’t lunch or dinner time. After standing there waiting for 15 minutes, I just walked out! Only 1 person taking orders and a bunch of other employees standing around. The older man who serves as «manager» may be the worst manager I’ve ever seen in the food industry. Upon seeing a line forming, he didn’t go over and open up another register himself. He stood there and upon the young lady taking orders needing his assistance, he didn’t show any sort of urgency. Just took his sweet time. Every time I come in for food, I order the Spicy Southwest Chicken Griller. I’ve had it at numerous locations. But EVERY SINGLE TIME I order it at this location, I have to send it back because it’s cold. The only reason I ever go back is because it’s the only location close to my home. If there was any other location remotely close to me, I would never come back.

Solid food that is served by a friendly staff at a reasonable price with an open atmosphere. I would visit again most definitely!

Got the loaded spud and It was delicious. It is a order at the counter place but they checked on our table multiple times. On a pervious cost I got the squash soup and loved it. So good food and good service.

Decent prices, very good sandwiches! I had the King Club which was great! The meat was piled high and my side of fruit was cold and fresh. Was quickly served and the manager was working very hard to keep things clean while they were having their lunch rush! Drove all the way from OKC to eat here and was overall satisfied!

I was very impressed with how fast management contacted me with an apology after my previous complaint. Will give them another shot.

Boy… this place is expensive for the amount of food you actually get. Quite disappointing. The food was decent… I ordered the McAlister Club with a side of fruit, My fruit cup only came with 9 pieces of fruit which consisted of cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, and pineapple… maybe that’s standard, but it didn’t seem like much. The sandwich was pretty good. I just don’t see how their price is justified.

I was here with my daughter and her boyfriend and he ordered the chicken tortilla soup in a bread bowl and it seemed like he got a cup size portion in his bread bowl. He was finished before I even dressed my potato! Pretty sad considering we love your food. Very disappointed this trip!

Gross! Clean up your restaurant! The food isn’t great, but I will not be returning no matter what because of how dirty this place was. Not to mention the employees were doing anything but cleaning up, a few were even sitting at tables in uniforms relaxing.

Had the grilled ham and cheese with cheese spud. The sandwich had mustard on it which was a bit overpowering and the spud was kind of plain. I think next time I’ll remember to order the regular spud with some of my choice of toppings and no mustard. Wasn’t that great.

We had not been to a McAlisters in years… neither has a cleaning or maintenance crew apparently. My wife and I were initially impressed with the variety items on the menu. They still have some of the classic sandwiches and salads we remembered. They have also added a lot of new items. As expected the cashier taking our order was overly nice; in a Chic-​fil-​a scripted way. After ordering we took our little number to find a table. As soon as we went to sit down is when our enthusiasm and fond memories quickly vanished. The seats in the booths are visibly dirty and most of them have rips and holes in them. There are ledges with dividers throughout the restaurant. They are all caked with dust, dirt, and splatters from drinks. They clearly have not been cleaned in a very long time. There are crumbs and little pieces of trash along all the edges of the booths, floors, and walls. It really made us wonder what the kitchen looked like. We were a little apprehensive about our meal when it arrived. My wife had a seasonal salad and I had the Horseradish Beef and Cheddar. I am not sure if the food was really bland or if it was my shock at the filth that killed my tastebuds. One positive part of our visit was that the tea was still really good.

Nice place for good deli style food. Plus right by my job so works great for my dinner breaks. Sweet tea is awesome. My order is about 95% of the time correct and when it hasn’t been they are quick to correct it. I will keep coming back.

Great lunch spot. They are awesome with Togo orders with big groups. They have good desserts and amazing ice tea.

The 3 times I have ordered to go food, my order was wrong. I suggest Panera or Saturn Grill they are much better.

Awesome food. Even better service. JT was one of the nicest persons Ive ever encountered in the food service business. Highly recommend if you are in the area looking for a quick meal!

Great place to get a Reuben and a good bowl of soup! YUMM!

Have eaten here before over 2 years ago. Was nasty then and was worse today. Over priced, stale bread, fatty beef that reminded me of the commerial… Where’s the beef??, and a tinny, tiny piece of cheese, cold starchy broccoli soup, they forgot to add broccoli to, and burnt juice. Will never go back! Oh yes and lemonaid they forgot to add lemons or at least lemon favoring to! YUCK!!!

The food is always great but the reason I give it a 2 star rating is the fact that they are normally under staffed and unprepared during the lunch hour rush. Even calling in an order does no good. If you are going to dine in or carry out at lunch during the weekdays make sure are prepared to wait 30+ minutes.
