Macy’s

I have attempted to shop at this Macy 2 times. Each time I go to the makeup section and no one helps me. No one comes over to say ’ how may I help you ’ or ’ can you give me one second, I’ll be with you shortly ‘. Each time I was simply ignored. This last time I even sat on a chair smiled and trying to get the sale women’s attention, she then looked away and started talking to another client. This last time there seem to be a few clients being ignored. There were at least 4 of us standing around trying to get helped and the lady at the E. L counter ignored us and stuck to one client. Never acknowledging the rest. There were ladies at a near by counter also ignoring clients chatting among themselves. I walked away and spent my money at Dillards.

I went to the Clinique counter to purchase my make up. I tried on two colors and told the salesperson that ivory was too light and she then applied honey and said it was the right color. I agreed. She looked for it for at least five minutes. Another sales person came over to help her look for honey. Then the asked person announced, we have it, rang it up and put it in the bag. Of course since TWO sales people looking for honey, I didn’t think would need to check it. Of course when I took it out of the bag today, it was the one we specifically discussed was the wrong color. This is very frustrating. I will be driving back today and returning the wrong color.

I’m just a little upset with macys not the staff but macys for leading me on! I buy most of my makeup from Macys and when I saw a door buster deal starting at 8pm on Thursday I told myself this is the first place I need to stop at! So I scratched out Walmart which was a joke anyways and target and headed over to macys it was about 6:15ish my mom and I were the first to act crazy waiting by the door by the men’s department … When they let us all in I headed straight to the makeup my heart racing because I can hear everyone saying where is the smashbox lol well come to find out they don’t carry smashbox !!! So this 5pc try it makeup set advertised for $ 10 dollars didn’t even exist!!! So I gave up watching the crazies at Walmart fighting over a doll house that’s marked down $ 2 dollars from the original price to get told that they don’t even carry smashbox ??? and I may be able to «order online» from them but not guarantee that I will get it for the low price of $ 10? Haha Macy’s gets 1 star today until I get over this but thanks for my luggage set and umm I still waiting on my rebates from last year from buying all those Bella kitchen items!
PS… I called macys at penn square and that nice lady also told me that they didn’t carry smashbox and that they are sorry. I guess sorry that macys ad had a scam in it lol. If every macys in oklahoma don’t carry smashbox then the ad should not advertise it not only me but many woman were looking for this product.

Went by on early Sunday morning (open 24 hours before Christmas). The staff was wonderful!
Prices are generally good, although sometimes their coupons are confusing and frankly misleading. However, for good service at reasonable process, Macy’s is good.
