Normally I’m skeptical of bar food up front. I was pleasantly surprised twice at Louies. The staff was very helpful and the food was quality. I had an excellent burger there which was juicy and flavorful. And I had a great sirloin steak that was properly cooked and was quality meat. If you’ve ever had one of those fatty or gristly or thin cut bar steaks, you’ll know why I hesitated to order it. But there was none of that here; it was a good cut cooked to the done-ness I ordered and was flavorful and juicy. So all in all, a great dining experience. Give them a try.

We arrived at OKC airport and wanted to see the end of our alumni college team play a big game to get into the playoffs. We called Louie’s and spoke with the manager Wes who was perfectly accommodating in terms of offering a tv and a table and hosting us like family. I would give the location five stars but we didn’t order any food or stay longer than 45 minutes. But we very much enjoyed being hosted by Wes and Page our server who was very kind. Great Moscow mules!

Service was above standard and attentive. Had the southwestern burger but felt like it was too spicy. Fries were good. Food was about 12.00 per person. Not a bad place to watch a game.

This place is my fallback restaurant when I don’t have a specific place in mind. There are several different type of full meal options that are worth the value. The appetizers are even better, especially the jumbo bone-in wings. That said, nothing is 5-star quality and the beer selection is average. There are a lot of TVs and the atmosphere around the bar usually consists of a lot of drunken regulars with some out-of-towners mixed in from the hotels across the way. The service is usually on point as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to take anyone in Louie’s for fear they couldn’t find something they like to eat. Especially if they want wings, I recommend the jumbo bone-in wings for crispy awesome wings, but all the food here is good

Delicious food, great service, and very friendly environment. I have been here more than once and have never been disappointed. Last time I went in my server was Kelly. She was very friendly, smiled, and was very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone.

First visit ok sports bar not crowded and several TVs burger was good but frys were shoestring and not my favorite. Looks like a more of a favorite hangout as beer is cold and priced to sell.

Food was pretty good) Asian salad — it had 4 Mandarin orange sections) but the wait time was unacceptable — 1 hour. Then we had to take it to go since we were due at a conference across the street and they didn’t include napkins or cutlery. I will not be going back.

Stayed at the HJ next door and ordered takeout. Had the Louis Club and sweet potato fries. They were very good and the gal that served us was very accommodating. Nice atmosphere

I ordered a hawaii chicken with soup and brocoli to go. When I arrived to my hotel I found lemon peper chicken with two portions of brocoli, no soup.

We stayed at Days Inn next door to Louies. Had chicken Caesar salad and a mushroom Swiss burger with fries. Everything was very good except for the fries, they were hard and not very appetizing. Would have no problem recommending to anyone.

Did not eat, but considering I a in OKC, they have a good selection of beer on tap. Who would have thought they would have a Dark Belgium and an IPA on tap.

I’m a big fan of Louie’s — decent food and drinks for a decent price. We went this weekend before OKC Fest to avoid the downtown restaurants since we figured they’d be packed, and this was a great choice. Happy hour is 3 — 7 p.m. for half off domestics, so we had some cheap beers before we had to go downtown for the higher prices, which is inevitable at events like this. While Louie’s never blows me away by any means, it is pretty consistent with decent food, drinks and service all for pretty low prices.

My friend and I just drove 15 hours from Phoenix to Oklahoma City and upon arriving at 9pm, we were glad to see Louie’s across our hotel’s parking lot. All we wanted was to grab some food/beers and relax after a long journey. Long story short, we sat there for 15 minutes with no service and no acknowledgment. Honesty, I was so hungry and tired at that point from driving all day that even mildly friendly service and halfway decent food would have elicited a very nice tip from me. Too bad this place fucking sucks.

Louie’s is a solid variant in the«local chain» genre, a perfectly fine bar/restaurant with friendly staff, a solid beer selection, and a fun atmosphere. The food is solid — nobody will mistake this for haute cuisine, but it’s well-executed bar food(ample portions of nachos, fried green beans where the batter may or may not contain an actual bean inside, etc), and they have COOP on tap, which is always a plus. In our case, Stanley Cup action had absorbed a huge number of the folks there, but we were still well taken care of by our server and the manager. I will say too that we lived in an extended-stay hotel in that part of town for about six weeks when we first moved out to Oklahoma City, and there are a lot of shady spots in that area. So extra points for being a great option in this area of the city.

In a part of town dominated by national chains and trans fats, it’s nice to have a local option, and one a bit more affordable than Charleston’s. A group of Unilocalers came out last night to try this after a few hours volunteering at the Regional Food Bank. We were all very happy to see COOPDNR available on tap, and they also have Horny Toad by the can. We split an order of the chicken nachos, which were big enough everyone got to have some. If two people were splitting, that would be a full meal. Wisely, one of our group thought to order the fried green beans — sooooo good! More fried than green, but who cares? Our server was great, and a manager delivered our food and checked on us later. Even with an important hockey game on, and a lot of cheering, we never had a hard time hearing each other. The restaurant is reasonably clean, has a bit of a patio(which was basically a smoking section last night) and a diverse and fairly-priced menu. I’d much rather eat here than any of the national chains any day.

I absolutely love their lunch menu. Fresh salads and yummy sandwiches. I’ve never been for dinner but this is a great place to stop at for a quick lunch and their black bean salsa is great! The service is very good as well and I really enjoy the casual atmosphere. I go to this location because it is close to my work, but all the locations I’ve been to(NW Expressway & Hefner Lake) are just as good! Also the fried green beans are always a hit!

How can you call yourself a Sports Bar when you close and kick people out during a hometown playoff game? Closing at 10pm on a Sunday while a playoff game is going on is by far the dumbest thing I have experienced at a so called sports bar. Other that this the service is fairly good although the bar tenders could stand to learn about something called customer service. My bar tender was nice but many of the others were rude and enough to ensure I’ll never come back. Too bad too because I’m a great tipper.
